We spent this week’s date night at the Two Bit Club and it was a big hit!
The food was amazing! Flavorful, delicious, and well presented. Every - dish! We started with the beef fried rice - despite warnings not to fill up on it, we couldn’t stop ourselves. We moved on to Chicken Curry, Shaking Beef, Crispy Potatoes and Brussel sprouts. All equally as flavorful and delicious. Portions are very generous.
Service: Oi greeted us upon arrival and was very welcoming and warm. She visited our table a few times to check in also. Carlos was our waiter and was fabulous! Great conversation, attention to detail, and a genuine, warm and friendly personality.
Atmosphere: It’s a beautifully decorated space. The walk in through the courtyard was lovely. Loved the touch of fresh flowers throughout. Great date night and/or special occasion restaurant. We will definitely be back!
Have now dined here three times and it has become better with each visit. This is a new restaurant associated with the Richmont Hotel and it’s a good addition to Charleston dining albeit I think we are reaching the tipping point with new hotels and dining options. Great location between King and Meeting streets in the heart of tourist town. The interior is a visual treat with smart minimalist wood dominating the decor and subtle lighting creating a pleasant tropical vibe. There is addition outdoor covered seating and an enclosed private dining area both nicely decorated. Service is very good and the menu is adequate with a selection of small plates, large plates and sides that make for a good opportunity for variety and sharing. The cuisine is Vietnamese with some interesting twists and the presentations were adequate. Everything we had over our three visits was good with the exception of the fried rice which was pasty and lacking any real flavor. Small but serviceable wine list, lots of cocktails and a few beers rounded out the beverages. Desserts were very good, particularly the Crème Brûlée. Prices are reasonable by downtown Charleston standards. There is nearby public parking and valet service for the hotel. Overall we give the Two Bit Club four google stars and 3.5 clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.

We have been looking for a good date night, this place delivered. We’ve been let down the past three places who won’t be called out. The prices here are very reasonable, you can eat low or high depending on your budget and still walk away stuffed. Highlights were the steak fried rice ( don’t be fooled, the texture, herbs and aromatics make this a pronominal meal). Another must is the pork ribs and the crispy potatoes. We were torn on the bock choy, some thought it was fine but another thought it was amazing, great char flavor. Lastly, the Vietnamese coffee was some of the best I’ve had. To finish the meal we had the crème brûlée and the penna cotta both great. Now for the service, this restaurant is beautiful and the service is so luxurious and welcoming. We got hand towels for ordering the ribs and they were gorgeously lightly scented with jasmine. Our server Carlos was amazing, so warm and very knowledgeable about the menu and service in general, portioning out each corse with perfect timing. We well over ordered to have left overs, and he was so thoughtful to remind us to not eat all our fried rice so that we kept room for the other items coming, though this might sound silly, it stuck with us as a server who has observed his customers and knows how to ensure they have the best experience. We will be dreaming of the fried rice and coffee, hope to be back soon! Thank you to all the staff. For the public, keep these tables booked, cause we would love to see this place hit its 10 year anniversary. ( they just opened about 7 months ago).
We had such an amazing experience at Two Bit Club celebrating our friend’s birthday! The food was absolutely incredible with each dish being delicious and beautifully prepared.
What really made the night special was the service. Qi, Carlos, and the entire team went above and beyond to make the celebration memorable, even surprising our friend with a personalized birthday gift. Such a thoughtful touch!
Exceptional food, outstanding service, and an unforgettable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Two Bit Club.
My wife and I had date night at the Two Bit Club on a Saturday evening. We made reservations for the counter for the open kitchen view. The atmosphere is excellent throughout restaurant, and the staff has a good balance of service and personality. Carlos, our server, was fun and attentive.
In short, the food was exceptional, one of the best if not THEE best dinners we’ve had in Charleston. We dine at many of the restaurants on the Peninsula, steak, Italian, Greek, southern, and seafood. Being well traveled omnivores, we think we have a grasp on what good food is-and Two Bit Club got it right!
To start the cocktails are original, a little sweet for my taste but I enjoyed “Smoke and Cashew.” The menu has a nice variety of food and every dish we tasted was as good as it sounds. We wanted to try everything, but we had to make difficult choices. The Tuna tartar was fresh and flavorful. The ribs- AWESOME- I had to share them with my wife, and my only mistake was I didn’t get a second order. We ordered the Chicken Curry, one of the best curries I’ve ever had, and the Shaking Beef, rocking with flavor! We paired our meal with a nice bottle of wine that was reasonably priced.
The dessert of an excellent Honey Crème Brulé topped off a great dinner. I also liked the Panna Cotta. We really wanted to try all the desserts but not in one sitting, right?? Which means-return trip-we are already making plans to bring our family and friends. We must finish ordering the rest of the menu. And that’s my two bits!
