Everything was delicious. Four of us went to dinner and shared multiple plates. Steak, chicken, mussels, refried rice, and potatoes were all excellent and flavorful. Service was top notch too. On the pricey side but definitely worth it. Can't wait to get back.

Let’s start with some good things: the restaurant itself was beautiful and the staff was super friendly. Unfortunately that’s where the good stuff ended. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees from the specials menu. The dumplings were good to start, but the mains were so lackluster we actually sent one back. The food was under-flavored, the meats were overcooked, and for some reason it seemed like there was wet lettuce in everything. The worst thing though was the state of the open kitchen & view from the chefs counter. I’ve included a photo, take a zoom around and tell me that you see anything that wouldn’t be better off behind a wall? Food bits all over the counters, floors, around burners, and on the cook tops. Bins of ingredients stacked with other bins of food sitting in them. It was just chaos. I’m not a clean freak or someone who gets grossed out easily, but this was just a mess. When you sit at “the chefs counter” you expect to see a pristine space. Sitting here made me feel like I was getting a look behind a curtain I wasn’t supposed to see behind. No one wants to look at a used latex glove on the floor while they eat.

Me and my husband went on Friday the 13th, as a post birthday, pre valentine’s dinner. We had the pleasure of sitting at the chef’s bar and it was an incredible experience. The restaurant was very busy, but everyone in the staff were incredible, especially our server Averill. She was welcoming, sweet and on point with service. The food was also amazing.

Came in a large group for a bachelorette party - the staff were incredibly friendly & they had a card and gifts for the bride! Extremely thoughtful detail, and set the tone for the experience. We ordered most of everything on the menu and everything was absolutely delicious. They were also very mindful and accommodating of allergies we had in our party! I especially enjoyed their cocktail menu and had a yummy Chai Espresso Martini. To continue their generous hospitality, they comped two desserts for us - the Bánh Choux and the Honey Crème Brulee. These were the highlight of the meal for me! The pandan cream in the choux was absolutely delicious & I’m not normally a fan of crème brulee, but the honey flavor really did it for me! Would highly recommend - the generous staff, the chic atmosphere & the delicious food all made for a wonderful evening!

I stumbled upon this place walking around downtown. It’s a bit hidden on society street that’s apart of a small boutique hotel. It also happened to be happy hour so I was excited to see what they had to offer. The restaurant is stunning, beautiful decor, clean and they have an open kitchen. It wasn’t busy at all when I went on a Monday afternoon so I sat at the bar. My bartender was very lovely and gave me some suggestions. Shrimp summer rolls - rolls were good but I felt the sauce was one dimensional. Yes while it was a peanut sauce it didn’t really have any other flavors. Like a savory or sweet element to it so I asked for fish sauce. I did get “fish sauce” but I was referring to like the “nuoc cham” mixed fish sauce you would get a most Vietnamese restaurants. I didn’t make a fuss and just rolled with what they gave me. Beef fried rice, looked amazing however, I also thought the flavor was again one sided. You can taste the aromatics which enjoyed, but it was just savory overall. Which is not a bad thing per se, but I was looking for more flavors. The rice itself was cooked well and the beef was good but I didn’t love it. For the price of $10 you do get a good portion. Spare ribs was the best thing I had. I actually liked eating it with the rice because it had such a rich and sweet flavor, it complemented the savoriness of the rice and balanced it all out. Crispy bits and tender biting into the rib. They nailed this one for sure. For all that food I spent $37 so I found that to be a great deal for the quality of food. I would be interested to come back and try some of their entrees. I think off Vietnamese food it was just missing a couple key elements in terms of flavor.
