  12pm from opening 7am Corporate needs to evaluate this immediately. It's more than needed to make a review only because there's a new concern/ complaint already in process. The Chef/ Cook/G1 is filing this review, with a direct request for meeting because of the nature of leadership at King St location in Charleston SC. " Misguiding and Hostile Environment" I'm sparing the details because this is public although, Declaring immediately to be contacted for Major concern within the store. The stars I given is for respect of the work crew who cannot speak out clearly or direct because of need for their job seemingly because potential retaliation.

  Worst chipotle. I went around 5 pm on January 1st. Was just getting something quick to eat in our hotel near it! I walked in and the ladies asked “did you place an order?” I said -“no I’m here to place an order” employees response “we’re only taking online orders” while food was laid out and ready to take my order. So I backed away to “place my online order” while the front staff stood with their hands in pockets and backs to me. I truly thought I was on candid camera with such a ridiculous demand. With many glitches on my phone and the app I eventually just walked out. With no food. Very disappointed! The service everywhere we went in Charleston was impeccable except for this Chipotle. A fellow costumer told me that they do that often.

  I have been a customer for at least 10 Yrs. First time ever I have had this shocking experience in Chipotle. Monday evening 12/29, I asked to use a restroom for my children, it was an emergency. This gal at the cash register told me it's not a public restroom. I told her I am here to purchase burrito bowl and my family is already standing in line. She told me I have to show receipt of purchase before getting a key for the restroom. 15/20 Mins after the purchase I asked for the key, while my children were panicking, she told me both of their restrooms are out of order. That's a level of customer service, deceit and negligence I can't tolerate. Chipotle used to have one of the best customer care and empathetic staffs.

  Absurd! 5pm on a sunday night..dinner hour! Who is managing this place? I don't think anyone. Every single food item they had out was bottom of the barrel and looked like it was from yesterday. No cash accepted, bathrooms out of order, only tea available for a drink option, every garbage can was beyond piled. I won't even go into detail about the overall cleanliness of the place because it's non existent! Someone needs to get this place of business in order because that is nuts! I guess I should've read the other reviews before even entering. So sad, on a busy street and it looked like that? Also there was one other couple dining in. So definitely can manage clean up! I won't be surprised if this place gets shut down because of food safety! Save yourself the trip! Sorry not sorry..no excuse!

  I would leave zero stars if that were an option. We were not informed prior to ordering that several core items were unavailable, including rice, guacamole, and cheese—basic components of the bowls. The overall cleanliness of the store was unacceptable. The food line glass was so covered in residue and drippings that it was difficult to see the food being served. Trash bins were overflowing, with debris spilling onto the floor, and the drink machine was inoperable due to a lack of CO₂. Our interaction with the manager was equally disappointing. He was unfriendly and dismissive, and both he and the staff behaved as though serving customers was an inconvenience. The lack of food availability appeared to be the result of poor management and a complete failure to prep; no one was actively cutting, preparing, or cooking anything during our visit. Most concerning was the complete disregard for food safety. The manager handled a visibly dirty iPad over the food line while checking temperatures, creating obvious cross-contamination issues, with no attempt to sanitize. This establishment demonstrated a severe lack of cleanliness, professionalism, and basic operational standards. I will not return. This was a complete waste of money.
