- OPO PJan 24, 20261.0I’ve been a customer of Food Lion for over 34 years, and even though this store has been going downhill for years, this morning I decided to hang it up and never go there again! So I attempted to purchase two bags of Fresh Express Salad early this morning, and when the cashier, a young and skinny black male, rang them up, they rung up for $3.79 each, when in reality, as seen on the attached picture from their sales flyer, they were supposed to ring up at $5.00 for both. I nicely informed the cashier that after scanning my MVP card, they were supposed to ring up at $5.00 for both, and that’s when he decided to get nasty and argue with me, instead of looking at the flyer or at the display case where they were properly labeled as 2 for $5.00. Being that I didn’t have the time to argue with him, or to do his job for him, I told him just to keep them and remove them from my total. Very sad to see that they continue to hire rude and incompetent people, whom don’t care about anything, with no customer service skills, and whom behave in an unprofessional manner. Apparently this kid has never been trained to go above and beyond, or to exceed expectations.
