  I ordered Bessinger's in the drive thru yesterday evening for the first time in months. Unfortunately I had a negative experience and hadn't been back. I got home and ate after a long stressful day and the food was AMAZING!! Fresh, hot, and delicious. Clearly there have been improvements in the kitchen because Bessinger's is back and even better than before! Thank you so much for making my entire week with the best BBQ in Charleston!!

  Great BBQ. I wanted to try the big brisket. I’m from out of town was here for a couple of days every time I went I was highly disappointed no Brisket!you gotta go early to get. It !!was told by some Acquaintances got some good flavor now!!! maybe next time

  If you're going for the atmosphere, you're going to the wrong place.. there were only 3 total couples in the place.. The drive-thru line was packed and steady.. the food was excellent and it looks like they might get busy on the weekends ..but I can see people driving through the drive-thru line and getting whole meals to take home because some things were sold out at about 6:00.. so it tells me they were popular!

  Nice place for bbq. Got two turkey sandwiches with basket of fries 🍟 that were cold and fried onion ( 1 single large batter deep fried ring of an onion). The sandwich was good with thick nice portion of breast meat. Cole slaw was good as well.

  First let me start out by saying I love bessingers bbq, have for many years but yesterday my family of 4 ate there and I have to say, bessingers on savannah hwy, you have got to do better. We spent a little over 90.00 for our meal but the sweet tea was empty, original bbq sauce trickled out, one bathroom stall out of order, hand dryer out of order, they did have hand towels, the booth we sat in had all sorts of crumbs and leftover food in crevices, we sat in the back & it had a strange odor. Mr Bessinger, please take care of these issues. I really want to keep supporting your business. TIA
