  I visited this location on February 11th, 2026 at 9:30PM, with my boyfriend, while doordashing in the area. My boyfriend had to use the restroom, and from the moment he went in and sat down, an employee accosted him, telling him he better hurry. The employee stated, "You have 15 minutes before I have to clean up in here and I'm tired of cleaning up after grown people's shit and piss." The employee continued to stand just outside the stall saying, "Come on man, you gotta hurry up." The entire situation was uncalled for and made him very uncomfortable. I don't understand how an employee could treat a customer like this. Will not be returning to this location again.

  I wanted to bring to your attention an issue I have encountered repeatedly: being overcharged for sale items due to the sales price barcode not being placed over the regular price barcode. I understand that this is sometimes done so customers can see the sale price, but it often leads to overcharging. Recently, when trying to ensure I wasn’t overcharged, I experienced resistance from a cashier who didn't want to honor the sale price barcode I pointed out before the item was scanned. The cashier became rude when I expressed my frustration and refused to honor the clearly marked sale price. Even after requesting assistance from a store manager, the situation remained unresolved, highlighting inadequate cashier training and ineffective store management. I subsequently went to Walmart Marketplace, where I received friendly service and found regular prices comparable to Food Lion's "sale prices," which demonstrates the difference in customer service quality. As a loyal MVP member who has spent considerable money in your stores, I am disappointed. I can no longer justify shopping at Food Lion due to these recurring issues. Your "sale prices" being charged at full price is simply not worth the hassle.

  I appreciate the manager of the FL here, on Knox Abbott Drive. He is a concientious and caring individual . As a senior with visable health issues, he noticed me struggling and took the time to offer me individual help by making sure I knew the location of a bench to sit down and catch my breath. I shop here every week, I notice he is always friendly, with a welcoming and appreciative attitude toward his customers. This goes a long way in today's society. This organization is lucky to have him. The store is also organized. It is clean and well staffed.
