  I came in this morning to return something I bought yesterday. Unopened. Realized it had fake sugar in it, which I don’t eat. Had my receipt. Waited a minute as no one at service desk. Hear a door behind me and turn around. A women with a very grumpy look on her face comes walking toward me. Doesn’t say anything so I say “good morning”. She can barely get herself to say a grumpy hi. I’m standing in front of the open register—other one has a lane closed sign. This is the one she goes to. I waited to see if she was going to remove the sign and open that register. She doesn’t, she just says “yeah?”. By this time I am stunned at the lack of friendliness to a customer. I explained why I was there, put the item and my receipt on the counter. She then moves to the other register, and I can’t see her at all for the lottery stuff displayed. I tell her she can’t just give me a store credit because I have shopping to do. She’s says you want cash or back on your card, again in a very grumpy way. I said I don’t care, whatever’s easiest for you. She comes back over and hand me my change. Doesn’t say anything so word. This is the closest store to me and I shop there often. I have never encountered a less friendly less welcoming person working there. This woman should not be in customer service. She was awful for absolutely no reason. I hate to think what she’d be like to a complaining customer. Please replace her or retrain her because she has no manners.

  Here’s a clean, tightened version with the same meaning and no filler: This is a solid Food Lion. It’s consistently well-stocked, clean, and well organized, and the staff and customer service are reliably good. Parking is always easy, which makes it a convenient stop when you need something quickly. I wouldn’t choose it for heavy grocery shopping, though. For larger trips, I still prefer a bigger box store—especially for meat and poultry, which is where this location falls a bit short.

  Clean, organized and stocked all the time. All cashiers are friendly and offer self check out options as well! Austin was very helpful, knowledgeable and caring-he made my shopping experience amazing!!
