    Was just there went to meat department trying to see selections when an employee ir stood there with a wagon of meat talking on the phone blocking the cases.i am In a wheelchair and need space he totally ignored me. Phone call was to important. Terrible management

    My wife went to this Food Lion location to purchase a money order. She had the proper credentials, yet the cashier refused to process the transaction and told her it wasn’t necessary to give her any explanation as to why. When I arrived shortly after, I was able to purchase a money order instantly with no issue. The only difference was that my wife is of Mexican descent. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told the “boss,” Greg, was on vacation. Another employee later admitted he had been there earlier. The cashier first claimed she didn’t know when Greg would be back, and then the other insisted he was unavailable. Which is it? Was Greg really there, or was I simply being lied to? And isn’t the manager on duty supposed to be the acting boss? Instead of resolving the issue, I got nothing but contradictions and excuses. Discrimination has no place in any business. Denying someone a service they are qualified for, refusing to give an explanation, and then lying about management presence is unacceptable. My wife was humiliated, and I expect Food Lion corporate to take this matter seriously to ensure every customer is treated with respect no matter their background.

    Terrible place, they conned my mom and didnt give her one of her bags. I called the manager for the old 85 year old lady.. and the manager said she would call her. OF COURSE THEY DID NOT DO NOT SHOP THERE
