Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported slow service, long wait times, and incorrect orders, leading to dissatisfaction.

The employees have ruined this restaurant. Awful and slow service everytime I go. Went at 4am and the lady was in her car with the drive thru headset and refused to take orders or cook and said they were closed. Then why is she there? It's a shame because this could be a great restaurant if you had great people to work.

I was excited about Whataburger coming to our town n my first experience there was when they first opened. They were still getting in the groove. The burger was cold and not given as ordered but I overlooked. Visited the one in Anderson and a better experience. Learn as you go. Worth giving another try.

I had a friend at work to order me a spicy chicken sandwich combo. The order can up to $24 and some change. We when it got here it was cold. When I opened up the chicken sandwich it was burnt! I thought oh it's just dark, no it was burnt dry. The lettuce and tomatoes were old as well. This was my first time trying whataburger and my last. Everybody i talked to about the restaurant said they had good food. That was a lie. Not again. It didn't deserve the 1 star I had to give to do the review.

Extremely slow at the drive-thru. I was 3rd in line and it took nearly 15 minutes to get to the window and it still wasn't ready. A lady who pulled ahead and waited for her food got it and I saw her walk the bag back in I guess because of a quality or wrong item issue. The bacon cheeseburger and fries were good and the lettuce and onions were fresh, but its just not worth waiting an eternity for.
