As a band, we love to play up there! The crowd is upbeat and engaged and the venue treated us with appreciation and respect. Playing indoors is fun, but outside is where the real magic happens. Highly recommended.

The guy Santos who took our order seemed to be pleasant at first, but after ordering with my card I asked for change for a twenty to tip. Santos said he’d give me two tens and I replied’ “keep one and give me the other”. Santos was not welcoming nor helpful when I approached. Santos went on to give me change and instead of putting the ten dollar bill in my hand; he sat it on the counter. I definitely felt a way as there was no reason not to hand me the ten dollar bill. I asked my mom to hand me the ten and she did. I went back to the counter to ask his name and if i offended him. He replied no and asked why. I explained the issue and how my mom was upset at how he placed it on the counter instead of handing it to me. He apologized and his excuse was they are very busy….. but they weren’t …. I concluded he’s either racist or for some reason wanted me to feel that I wasn’t welcome after obviously lying about being busy… I looked around at the nearly empty restaurant and replied with, “yeah it’s pretty busy” for purposes of sarcasm and hoping that my food won’t be spat in for approaching him about it. I’m not sure how other employees treat customers so I left three stars to be fair. I couldn’t enjoy my food because ambience, service and energy all means something to me when it come to my experience when visiting a restaurant. I hope this is not the norm and whoever is reading this has a better experience than I did.. p.s I did like the Halo video game they had, and in the photo was after we ate and six other people came in. Definitely not busy… 😢
