In the early 1930s, my Grandfather, Joseph Roch, started the family business – bringing the freshest fruits and vegetables to retail and foodservice customers all over southern New England. After 50 years of serving the West Warwick community through Roch's Fruit and Produce, we moved our wholesale business to a state-of-the-art HACCP certified distribution warehouse in West Greenwich, Rhode Island. In 2011 we opened Roch’s Fresh Foods, Narrangansett, a full-service specialty market that serves South County. And in March of 2023, we opened our second Roch’s Fresh Foods market adjacent to our wholesale operation in West Greenwich.
Customers generally enjoyed the food, noting it was fresh and tasty, although there were some complaints about specific items being cold or not prepared correctly.
