  Drove an hour first time here first there was only Pepsi products big downer so I had to pay for a combo meal that was supposed to come with a drink I didn’t like . chowder and claim cakes were good but the chowder was watery I like it think this why I left 2 stars won’t rush back if I ever go back

  In response to the owner: We did not have the lunch special. The food and services was great! We ordered wings, pasta, and a sandwich! The pasta is absolutely amazing! The fish sandwich is good as well! We probably should’ve left the wings off our order since we were at a seafood restaurant. The wings were fried too hard. Loved the atmosphere and how the lights are dimmed later in the evening against the backdrop of the sun setting! I wasn’t expecting an automatic gratuity for a table of 2. Thankfully, the service was good!

  A friend and I found this place on a Monday night. It was packed. So many great options on the menu. I enjoyed steamers and swordfish. Can't wait to go back when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy a meal outside.

  Iggy’s in Iggy's Doughboys & Chowder House never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked—especially the chowder and doughboys, which are absolute must-haves. I had the broiled lobster and it was delicious—cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the waterfront view makes the experience even better. Staff is friendly and keeps things moving even when it’s busy. A true Rhode Island staple I keep coming back to!

  Tried for two days to get in touch with Bella to book a collation. The girl who answered the phone said she would text Bella so she knew about me needing the function room. I never heard from Bella. I called on the third day and asked to speak to the manager. I was told she was in a meeting and would call me back. Needless to say, she never called back. So I called again and asked for the manager. I told her what happened. She was apologetic said Bella wasn’t in since Wednesday. So the girl at the front desk who answers the phone didn’t know she wasn’t in since Wednesday. I told the manager I was thoroughly disgusted. This was for a collation and you can’t put people off. There should have been someone to cover for Bella or let the customer know they couldn’t be helped and to go elsewhere. I did tell the manager she should have a meeting with her help and should lay new guidelines on how to handle these situations correctly. I was truly disappointed with their lack of service and ineptness. We really wanted to use the restaurant because it was sentimental for our family. Don’t know if I’ll ever go back.
