We arrived on a VERY busy Friday night at 5:00 without a reservation. (Will not do THAT again). The hostess was able to give us a table with a 75 minute limit because it was set up for a later reservation. We accepted and shortly afterwards she came to the table to tell us she had arranged reservations extending our time limit to 2 hours and 15 minutes. To our way of thinking she DID NOT need to do this, but we surely appreciate and admire that she did. Our waitress was excellent. She was attentive throughout the meal and even made more than one attempt to correct a drink that arrived not as ordered. She was able to provide detailed information about a menu item when asked. She did all of this with a smile. Finally towards the end of the meal, the restaurant manager stopped at the table to inquire about our experience. This action to us is the sign of a well run establishment interested in maintaining an excellent experience for its customers. Treat yourself to a visit to Ironworks...and oh yes, make a reservation.

Iron Works is an absolute gem and easily one of the best dining experiences in the area. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and upscale, making it ideal for everything from a casual night out to a special occasion. The food is consistently outstanding, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high quality, fresh ingredients. The menu has something for everyone and every dish and drink feels thoughtfully crafted. Their clam chowder is my favorite around! Iron Works is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. Which is exactly what I do because I only get the chance to come when I travel to the area for work. An absolute must try for anyone in or around Warwick.

This would be my first dining experience here at Iron Works. This was a restaurant chosen by me from Newport Restaurant Group "gift card options". With that being said it was a lovely experience. I wish I got our waiters name because he was every bit of excellence you could ask for. He made sure to tell us in detail all of the favorite dishes and what they were made with. I got the steak frites (devine) and my Mom got the pastrami on rye. All amazing. I included that we were celebrating my up coming birthday and they even went as far as giving us a dessert to split and a card signed by the staff. Whaaaaat. Thank you Iron Works for the amazing first time and I plan on returning.

Made reservation for "restaurant table", placed in high-top next to door; 'great' first impression. Cobwebs and dust on light fixtures add an extra industrial look 👍🏼 Waitress was fantastic, friendly and on top of things!! Food: Shaved steak -- try seasoning, was sooo bland was like a soggy sock on the toasted bread. Mashed potatoes -- bland and reheated in microwave. Spinach -- overly salted; stir together with potatoes I guess. Poke bowl -- terrible combination of old rice from fridge vs maybe new rice lol (Asians can tell), toppings good but overly sweet and needed a lil salt...should've used some of the spinach. Pastrami -- solid, though mustard wasn't smeared across bread, was just plopped on it appearing from the patch I found; simple step that can make a difference. Whipped ricotta was good, great with French fries ((which are basic, probably pre-frozen) flat bread is good though too) Dessert: Cheese cake is good, whipped cream perfect (not overly sweet which pairs perfect) Bread pudding was stellar, easily the best part of our visit. Okay beer list, but a "gastropub" should have more craft ales available than, your big three, wine and mixxed drink if you ask me.

I work right down the street so location wise is great for a quick lunch. I usually will get the rotisserie chicken, Caesar salad with grilled chicken, burger or chicken sandwich. For some reason the chicken sandwich was off today. The slaw they use is usually fresh but it was definitely old which threw off the whole sandwich. My daughters was the same. Calamari is always very good. The banana ice cream desert with barely any wafer crumbs isn’t worth the price at all. It’s basically banana ice cream with a dust of wafer crumbs. Adding actual wafers or waaaay more wafer crumb would make it worth the price at the least. I think they took it off the menu. Good for them. All in all good place for a quick bite. Reasonably priced when all the food is fresh.
