I had a steak sandwich with mashed potatoes and the best gravy I’ve ever had, I didn’t dine in. I did DoorDash for the first time and the restaurant literally .4 miles from my house., I had it recently, sitting at the bar one night, Cellos and Richard’s pub used to be my favorite sandwich but now you guys just made it to the top. Thank you two times it was exactly the same.
I heard about Iggy's over and over again and finally my friend took me there. The place was nearly empty; we were sat in a booth. Unfortunately we were sat directly under a cold air duct - we quickly moved ourselves. The atmosphere is very rustic with weathered tables nautical doodads. It felt a little shabby to me. Of course we ordered a cup of the white chowder. My partner ordered the linguine with clam sauce and I ordered Penne with meatballs. The chowder came right away. Unfortunately it was just a bowl of thick potato soup with NO seasoning at all. OK there were some clams - but not many. We were still hopeful about our entrees. Even though the place just about empty our entrees took forever. We were disappointed again in both dishes. I renamed my dish Penne with bread balls. The marinara sauce was acidy. The linguine with clams was almost inedible. The clams were like tiny hard rocks. The one redeeming aspect of the evening was the waitress; She was charming and attentive. Iggy's boardwalk has plenty of parking if you go - but I can't understand why anyone would want to go. Oh, one further ironical note: the entire time we were waiting for our dinner, we were accompanied by a large screen TV that played commercials for Iggy's over and over again. Hysterical.

This has been a place I regularly visit. Since coming to Warwick, today was the first time I had a bad experience.
I ordered from the lunch special menu and sat at the bar. Everyone sitting next to me was served water and bread. As you know, this restaurant’s bread with butter is amazing. However, I was not served any. I placed my order, and it arrived very late. I understand that lunchtime can be busy. I asked for water and bread and waited about 15 minutes. I reminded the bartender again, and it came about 10 minutes later.
My main course was also served very late. Since I had somewhere to be, I asked if it could be packed to go. The main course came already packed. The bartender asked if I would continue eating it. Because I couldn’t take it with me, I said no, and it was thrown away. I didn’t take the dessert either and asked for the check.
My point is this: at any restaurant, if you can’t finish your lunch or if your order is delayed, you should at least be able to take your food with you. Not allowing that makes no sense. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. I just wanted to share my experience.
Booked a reservation hour before we got there. Person who greeted us, said we had just booked it and she said there a wait and you were actually 13 min early so it will be at 1:30 because there is a wait. There should not be an available reservation if you can’t honor it. So due to that we went somewhere else.

The hostess was a big problem for us. We made a reservation for 5:30 and arrived on time. I asked for a booth and she said “we have a lot of revelations so we will not be able to give you a booth.” I completely understand that so I told her that was fine. She walked us into the dinning room and there were two booths not occupied and two tables against the windows also unoccupied. She went to seat us at the only four top table in the center of the dinning room. I said, “Can we please have that table in the corner of the dinning room that is empty.” She AGAIN repeated that they had several reservations so this would be our table. So we were seated there by Saquesha, in the middle of the dinning room, after asking for a booth and then asking for any other table around the windows which were open.
Then, literally within five minutes of being seated (I am not exaggerating), one of the empty booths and one of the empty tables were seated right after us. One to a table of 4 and one to a table of 2 (we were a table of 3). Then, additionally, within 10 minutes of seating us, the second booth was seated to a table of 2. So within 10 minutes of us being seated for our 5:30 reservation, the other three tables that I asked for instead of our table, were all seated. I can completely understand if one or even two of those reservations had requested those specific tables, but come on. There is no way that all three of those tables had been specifically reserved. So had we showed up simply 5 minutes later, we would have gotten the table that I actually wanted. I mean, come on. Why not give me the one I asked for? You know I’m going to sit there and watch you sit the other three tables within 10 minutes of my seating.
I’m so upset with how this is as handled that I’m posting this review. It’s unaccountable. The food was amazing but that seating situation is why I’m giving a one star review. That’s just unfair. We were penalized for being there on time for our reservation. The other 5:30 reservations (Shaquesha was the one who said it was because they had several reservations- meaning we must have been the first 5:30 appointment) who came after us were able to get the better tables. What sense does that make????
Overall, yeah, I simply cannot recommend a place that would treat their customers that way upon arrival. Sorry.
