Hearing the servers argue about their mix-ups was no fun. My dad actually pointed it out. There were lots of large tables. Our server did seem to have it under control and was doing his best. It took quite a while to get our drinks, the blackberry sangria was worth the wait. The appetizers, stuffed mushrooms and shrimp scampi, plus the wings were delish. Great place for large groups.

The herb and olive oil dipping sauce for the nice warm Italian bread is phenomenal. The Bring one home for $10 special is a great deal our server told us about where you can buy 1 to eat at the restaurant and then pick another one to bring home for $10. The chicken trio dinner is delicious with a great variety. In the chocolate dream dessert was a dream. This restaurant has wonderful customer service. Definitely a good choice

We recently dined at Carrabba’s in Warwick, RI, and were genuinely impressed. The food was excellent — flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The service was equally outstanding: attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Keith “The Bearded Guy” Rocks, he was absolutely fantastic.
What really stood out was the atmosphere. Despite being a chain restaurant, this location has a warm, hometown feel that made the experience even more enjoyable. It felt like dining at a beloved local spot rather than a national brand.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious meal with a personal touch. We’ll definitely be back!

!!!FAILURE OF LEADERSHIP!!!
Very disappointed with the downward trend of Carrabba’s lately. My experience was one of lazy, sloppy, very ignorant staff and management with one exception who was the waitress who tended our table.
I came here on a weekday and tried to call several times to verify that they were open. No one answered the phone.
Went inside, no one was at the hostess station. Bartender was preoccupied on his phone and proffered no greeting or pleasantry whatsoever. No Eye contact, no hint of professional polish demeanor whatsoever. Just somebody who clearly did not want to be there and who had no desire to acknowledge a frequent and high tipping patron
Since there was no hostess, or anyone to acknowledge my existence or entrance, I took the initiative to seat myself. (I use a wheelchair so technically I was already in the seat, I just needed a table.)
A waitress finally materialized and brought me a menu. The waitress was very nice and the service was prompt and attentive.
While I waited for my meal, it was still pretty empty and quiet, a group of waitstaff and one of the managers was sitting at one of the tables gossiping and complaining about fellow staff members, who is showing up and who does not, who works harder and who does not and so on.
One of these was apparently a manager, or maybe the manager.
The overall impression that I get here is that no one seems to care about their job. I worked in the service industry from middle school through college, so I get it, but the fact that the manager allowed such a sloppy and unprofessional conduct directly adjacent to the dining area tells me that no one, from senior management down, cares at all or takes any sort of pride in their job.
Very disappointed. This used to be one of my favorite places to dine, but every time I go here the service just seems to get worse.
For the management: when you work directly with the public, especially in the service - emphasis on * Service* - you are expected to conduct yourself in the highest manner of professionalism.
When your staff sloths around looking like they just rolled out of bed, and conducts business in a sloppy and a different attitude, it’s a clear sign that the staff are likely being mistreated, that they are neglected, not being trained or properly mentored by management.
I found the conduct of the bartender to be atrocious: The overall low morale demonstrated by the staff upon my last visit there tells me that there is no mentorship or investment in the staff.
When you neglect your staff and the way that you have, it will eventually creep out to the front of the house and have a very negative impact on the quality of service, which is exactly what I experienced during my last visit.
This sort of thing as symptomatic of the greater problem of toxic leader ship and an overall failure of management.
If you invest the time and effort to properly train your staff, it will yield a return of tenfold because your staff might be inspired to perform at their best every time they come to work. This was not the case, the people that work there are clearly unhappy, and it is likely because they are mistreated and abused by management, and then they take it out on the patrons which is completely unacceptable.
If you were a manager, your job is to set an example for the rest of your staff to follow. If you set the example that it’s perfectly OK to take a sloth like approach to your job and mope around and gossip about your patrons and employees.
Really truly disgusted at my last experience, and I hope that you will consider what I have taken the time to bring to your attention, and I hope that you will strive to do better because this used to be a very well run business with very friendly and professional staff. I don’t know what happened, but this really needs to change.
If you can’t conduct yourself with the slightest degree of professionalism, you should avoid jobs where you interact with the public.
