Seems like they try to do the right thing but are stifled by corporate bureaucracy. Never enough cashiers, always long lines and a manager who stands around with his hands in his pockets.

I was in a Shaws a couple days ago in Wakefield, Rhode Island. Everything in the store is of course expensive right now Then of course, an announcement comes over the speaker saying that people that are on EBT can sign up for half price on their delivery service This is absolutely ridiculous. The price should be the same for everybody. The idea that people that don’t go to work and pay for anything can sit at home watch TV and have their groceries delivered is just flat out ridiculous I personally believe if you don’t want to go to work, then that should be the fact that you would be homeless in life, you should only get what you earn.

Don’t think we’ll be shopping at this location anymore. Went in with my two sons and one has autism, the bagger felt the need to start questioning my autistic son because he was happy about going to the park and proceeded to give me a dirty look before us leaving. Definitely made me uncomfortable and not wanting to return to this store….
