  What a great restaurant experience! We were a party of 30 and service was A+. Our waiter Chris single handedly serviced our party without issue. Food was delicious.

  Had 4pm rez on Valentine Day, sat promptly. Waitress Halley M. was excellent. Fried Risotto balls were good, 4 cheese ravioli were good, marinara good, 16 oz sirloin undercooked (asked for medium got rare). Had to fold white, construction paper, table setting under itself to stop of it from rubbing on my shirt at every bite (watched another table do the same). Lastly as far as atmosphere, attire is a definitely informal. Overall, owner gets kudos for being in business as long as they have, I personally will not be back, but I can see why people do go back.

  Had a great lunch recently, had the lunch special for 19.95, salad, delicious baked fish and dessert. Will surely be back!

  Hello, My apologies in taking so long to write this email but better late than never. On January 7, we had my father's funeral luncheon. There was a group of 24 of us. We were seated in the back area. We were greeted kindly and given condolences by our waiter, Chris. My father loved Southern Comfort so my friend and I made up a drink with Southern Comfort, Amaretto, and cranberry juice. We named it a SoCo Pop in honor of my father. We asked Chris if it would be possible to have one made for everyone and he kindly obliged. The bartender was a young girl but I can't remember her name but she made 24 of those drinks in no time and they were fantastic. Everyone loved them and some ordered a second one. The three course luncheon was offered and most everyone ordered off of that menu but there were a few that ordered off the regular menu which was also offered. There were a few that needed special attention with dietary needs and they were accommodated. The food was delivered promptly and without a hitch and everyone was impressed with the service and food. Literally, everything was perfect and spot on. We live in Smithfield so we frequent Tavolo often. We had gone to the Trap after the wake the night before and everything was horrible so I was praying for a better experience for our guests. Chris was absolutely incredible. It was a large party with special drinks and he handled everything professionally and flawlessly. He was friendly and kind. When we visited a few weeks later for dinner, he welcomed us back and I told him how incredibly impressed we all were with him and the bartender and it was then that he told us that they actually had to run over to the liquor store to buy more alcohol for us. I was shocked that they did that. I mean, we certainly would have understood if they told us they ran out of something. I mean, we did order 24 of them to begin with. I know I'm carrying on but I just can't say enough about how wonderful he and everything was. He just handled everything so beautifully and it did not go unnoticed. On another note, often when I visited with my dad for lunch when he was able to get out, we had the waitress with the short spikey hair. My father was in a walker and suffered with dementia and she was always so kind and patient and took such good care of him. We've had her as a waitress a lot too and she is very efficient and professional. Now, I'm done. lol
