I’ve never left a bad review, EVER. So this says a lot. I’m a food influencer in Rhode island who constantly has supported local restaurants and businesses to my 180,000 followers. Tyler is a manager there who I have a major issue with.
Here’s what happened:
I ordered a pizza with no cheese due to a dairy intolerance. It got picked up and I found that there was cheese on it. I called into the store to get a new one made, and upon calling, was told that they cannot make a new one due to the fact that the ovens were shutting down for the night due to the storm coming in. This was totally fine and understandable so I asked for a refund. I was told by Tyler that I would be issued to credit. According to dominoes website, they offer a credit or a full refund. After a repeatedly asking for a refund, I was told “no.” I was also told that issuing a refund is “a lot and he would need my credit card” which I offered to give to him and he still responded with no. I proceeded to ask for a name of someone above him that I could ask for a refund which he also responded with no. I then proceeded to ask for his name which he proceeded to say that he didn’t wanna give me and then told me have a nice day and hung up the phone. (Of course I now know his name is Tyler )
He definitely thought that that was the end until I drove to the Domino’s location, showed up, and asked for his name. He proceeded to tell me that he did not want to tell me it. I then asked for his name badge and he said “I don’t have one” with a smirk. I then proceeded to say I guess the only way I can identify you is with a picture of your face and took my phone out to video record. I asked for the general manager, which he also did not give me. Every kid that worked there was so scared to give me his name as well for fear of losing their job.
Tyler should be so ashamed.
That being said, people to commend: early morning manager Dan- who was so kind and helpful. He gave me a supervisor’s name and phone number who could assist. He also agreed that I should have just gotten the refund. Thomas who checked in on me when the dispute happened. Also, Steven who is a supervisor in charge of many locations of domino’s who settled this with grace, kindness, and a genuine appreciation of his customers. He heard me out, completely validated me in my feelings, completely disagreed with what happened. A Business should never be shunned for having one bad egg. Steer clear of Tyler and if you ever have an issue with him like myself, or some of the other Google reviews left behind have had problems with him as well, do not be scared to report it. Management is now aware of his tendencies

The older gentleman working made a delicious pizza as we request and the Parmesan bites were equally very good. He should definitely get a raise. The younger workers at this location tend to overcook the Parmesan bites and UNDERCOOK the pizza??? Hopefully, Domino's management will rectify this inconsistent cooking.

Second time ordering from this location and getting the food cold. We live a mile and a half away so theres no reason for it.
