    This store could really benefit from having an on-site manager or lead to help oversee operations. There always seems to be one employee handling the bulk of the work and fixing others’ mistakes. I wish I remembered his name because he truly deserves recognition for his effort and professionalism. I’ll be sure to update this once I get his name. The one star ⭐ I gave for Service, was only for that one employee. He deserves 1000000 stars. I watch him run the sandwich line, handle the drive thru, fix mistakes that the other employees make, mentor and train those other employees when they are making an order incorrectly, and all of this while he is putting together his own orders! Give that man a raise and a promotion!!! Unfortunately, my last visit wasn’t a great experience. One of the female staff members gave me a bad attitude when I politely asked if she could stir the sugar that was sitting at the bottom of my cup. Instead of simply explaining there wasn’t any sugar left or offering to add more, she responded rudely, saying “there’s nothing on the bottom.” When I clarified that our usual order is 6 and 6 (not extra extra or 4 and 4), she continued to argue and raise her voice. My husband and I decided to just leave with our coffees rather than escalate things. Sadly, the coffee was burnt and tasted like it had been sitting for a long time instead of being rotated regularly. This location has potential — especially thanks to the hardworking employee I mentioned, but it really needs stronger management and more consistent customer service. Having been a Cafe Manager for over 15 years on Thames Street in downtown Newport, I am able to see aspects of customer service that most people miss. This location has great potential, especially with that young man leading the way. I hope this review reaches the right person and they are able to help tighten up the team. I wish them all the best 🙏🏼

    My grandfather came to this Dunkin this morning and paid in change. When he had pulled up to the window he gave the employee the change and she proceeded to call him an idiot. He had heard it as he was driving off and went through the drive thru again to ask if he did something wrong. The lady did not take into consideration how rude and unprofessional that is and called another lady who came and told him to leave or she would take pictures of his license plate and call the cops. If she does not know how to count change that’s fine but maybe she shouldn’t be at the register. This is highly unprofessional and straight up rude. As someone who works in fast food I understand things can be overwhelming but this is 100% not okay. I am very disappointed and me and my grandfather will not be coming back. Don’t waste your money or time here the customer service is horrible.

    Asked for a small hot coffee with extra milk. Got and charged for a medium with light milk. Very bitter. Always disappointed at this location.
