Not too long ago there were a variety of choices of coffees that was variety of choices of fresh produce and a variety of frozen foods. Tonight I tried to buy a bag of lettuce yet every bag was rotten and filled with slime. Coffee prices are over the top trying to sell Starbucks coffee for $14.99 for a pound when I can go to Starbucks and buy the same pound for $9.99. Name brand Butters overpriced what other markets are selling the same butter for half the price. I spoke with the manager and it was like speaking to a box of rocks. Terrible leadership terrible products terrible pricing I will continue to shop at McQuades and rocks market and give to the local businesses. The store is absolutely disgusting as well as 80% of the products
- SSSaltyBitchNov 3, 20251.0They put industrial rolls of 1-ply toilet paper on top of the dispensers instead of putting any toilet paper actually in the dispensers so if you want to caress the same roll that everybody else does when they go #2 then come here because the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting... also I don't know how places have the poster up instructing you to use a paper towel to turn the sink off after you wash your hands ... but then they do not provide any paper towels whatsoever.. nasty
- CFCynthia FarrellOct 29, 20253.0I'm in a hurry, when I stop to pick up a few items this afternoon. I use the self checkout to save time, then realize I have a raincheck for two items in my order. I ask the front end staff person how I use a raincheck at self checkout. She states simply "You can't do that here". Nothing more. So I finish my order without ringing up these items and I take the two items to a staffed register. This front end person does not offer any solution. No, "Let me take those at this nearby register" or "You can take those to the service desk" After waiting in line for a few minutes I decide to take the 2 items to the service desk, where the cashier efficiently rang them up and had me on my way. So the reason for my review? The front end staff who assist customers at self checkout need better training. Customers who are willing to check their own orders should be supported, not penalized when they have extra things like rain checks. Do Better Stop and Shop!
