Definitely NOT a repeat. They screwed up our reservation, they screwed up our order and the table beside us too ( their food and wine, i saw them opening 3 bottles of wine, hopefully the 3rd one was a charm. Felt sorry for the people.) Doesn’t seem like they know what they are doing. Food was ok, nothing special. Definitely not worth the money.

I’ve been to Flemmings for most special occasions over the past 19 years. The last few times I did notice its just not the “upscale” restaurant it used to be. You would think there would be a certain type of dress to be expected, but now there are more people in jeans and sweats that those of us dressed up seem out of place. Like putting a bumper sticker on a ferrari. I started with a caesar salad which had good flavor, but the romaine seemed like it was Dole bagged romaine. It was not crisp and more yellow than anything. My husband ordered the NY Strip medium well. It cane out medium. My daughter ordered Filet Mignon medium, it was almost well done. I ordered the scallops with risotto. My food was actually luke warm and the risotto was overcooked to the point of being gummy. Out waiter did not make any recommendations for appetizers, drinks, food nothing. You would have assumed all the food was hot because the steaks came out on sizzling plates, but clearly my food say till the steaks were ready. Our waiter never came to check on the food, never asked if the steak were cooked correctly and never came back to the table to check on us. I would have loved another drink, but the waiter never came back. I had to ask another waiter to find our waiter so we could have the check. It was my birthday and the 1 year anniversary of my fathers passing. I was going to have dessert to celebrate both. That did not happen since all I wanted to do was leave after having such a subpar experience. I think at one point the restaurant manager came over to see how everything was, but he did not introduce himself, he didn’t even take the time to notice that only my scallops were eaten. They were eaten because they were already lukewarm warm and I didn’t want them to get any colder. So disappointed in this restaurant. There are so many amazing places in Providence to eat. If you want to spend money like this and actually have that high end experience, go across the street.

As usual, found myself at the bar, being seated immediately. Sean came up almost immediately and greeted me, and introduced himself to me and shook my hand. There is a smaller cocktail and bar food menu, but you can also get the full menu. Got the 8 oz filet, with a half order of mashed and brussel spouts with bacon. Perfect seasoning and cook on the filet, brussels were incredible, and mashed was also delicious. I intentionally didn't tell Sean it was actually my birthday (which he forgave me for) but my wife had called and ordered me a dessert, which the staff recommended chocolate lava cake. I'm not a sweets guy. At all. I'm a steak and taters kinda guy. But this chocolate lava cake, I could eat for dessert all the time. And thank you to Heather for telling me to take a photo for my wife! Definitely appreciate the staff going above and beyond on my birthday. The next time you're in Providence, go hang out at the bar and have a chat with Sean. It's worth it!

The food here is average at best. The steak was under seasoned. It was cooked correctly but did not taste like a dry aged steak at all. The chipotle Mac and cheese was very much one note. You could barely taste any chipotle at all. And the crust on top seemed like an after thought. $45 for a chicken breast is laughable and it wasn’t even good. The sauce that came with it tasted like Campbells vegetable soup. The shrimp cocktail however was very good. Super fresh and the cocktail sauce was excellent. The potatoes au gratin was tasteless. I also ordered the brussel sprouts which was ok just had too much balsamic on it. The brownie tasted like the ones you get out of a little Debbie box. That being said the atmosphere was excellent and our server was the best part of the restaurant. My bill was $380 and I wish I went to Long Horn and saved $200.
