  My family of 4 had dinner here last week prior to Christmas. Food and service were great. Our waiter was named Andrew. He was very friendly and attentive; made sure everything was perfect. Our children really enjoyed the hamburgers. My filet was cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the scallops; and they were full of flavor. The bartender mixed a great Negroni. Will definitely be back.

  This is my favorite restaurant in Providence. The food has always been amazing. I find myself craving it at all hours. The management is phenomenal. I’m still giving it 5 stars bc I love it, but tbh the table service is hit or miss so i recommend going to the bar. Joe is the best bartender in providence hands down. He’s awesome. If Rebecca is working I usually turn around and go somewhere else as she’s pretty consistently stressed and I’ll mannered

  Exceptional Corporate Hosting and Impeccable Service We recently hosted our company holiday party in the Riverview Room at Waterman Grille, and the experience was, in a word, flawless. From the initial planning phases to the final dessert course, the professionalism displayed by the entire team was of the highest caliber. The Planning & Coordination The organizing team made the preparation process entirely seamless. They were consistently accessible, proactive with updates, and ensured that every detail was accounted for well before we arrived. For a leadership team that values clear commitment and accountability, their transparency was greatly appreciated. The Culinary Experience The menu exceeded all expectations. The passed appetizers set a high standard for the evening, followed by a dinner that was executed with precision: Starters: The New England Clam Chowder and Caesar salad were fresh and perfectly seasoned. Main Courses: The Lobster Ravioli and Filet were standout dishes, cooked to perfection and served promptly. Dessert: We concluded with the Cheesecake and Chocolate Compote Cake, both of which were decadent and well-received by our entire staff. The Service Staff While the food and the beautiful views of the Riverview Room were lovely, the service truly set this evening apart. The bartenders and wait staff operated at a level of finesse seldom seen. I would like to specifically commend the Event Captain (our main point of contact for the evening), whose attention to detail was extraordinary. They anticipated our needs before they were voiced, making our team feel truly valued and appreciated throughout the night. If you are looking for a venue in Providence that understands the nuances of high-level service and culinary excellence, I cannot recommend Waterman Grille highly enough. We look forward to returning.

  I recently hosted an event at the Waterman Grilled for 35 guests in the loft area of the restaurant which was cozy and fit everyone comfortably. When I arrived with a few of my colleagues we were greeted by our servers Dan and Joe who did magnificant job taking care of my guests throughout the evening. They were happy to be at work with a smile and keeping the guests comfortable. I must commend them both for a job well done. Appetizers we had the option of Salad or Clam Chowder. The guest were very happy with both options. The salad was with fresh greens, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, goat cheese and dressing. The New England Clam Chowder was perfect served perfectly. The tempature was hot, but burn the mouth hot. When the soup met the tounge you were able to savor the flavor and experience the chowder with worry of blisters the next morning. Just perfect all the way. The main course was just as good with the option of Lemon Herb Chicken, Salmon or Goat Cheese Risotto. I had the Lemon Herb Chicken which was perfectly cooked, flavorfull and perfect portion size. The guests who had the Salmon and Goat Cheese Risotto were amazed at the flavor and enjoyed the meal just as much as I enjoyed my chicken. Dessert we all enjoyed either the cheesecake topped with seasonal fruit which was blueberries or the Chocolate Torte. I enjoyed my Cheesecake to the last bite, then reached over and had a bite of the Chocolate Torte which was just as good. My guests were very happy with the choice i made to host them and they continued to complement the venue all evening. I look forward to hosting future events here and even taken my wife on date here one night. Great experience start to finish. Well done Waterman Grille Team.

  Waterman treated me really good for my birthday. Thank you for the hospitality. Our host Noah was exceptional at his job and provided us with great service and great recommendations. The drinks we had were good especially the espresso martini which was surprisingly delicious. For starters we had the deviled eggs which were okay not really memorable compared to the cheese board and the crab cakes which is a must! So delicious we wanted more. For our entrées we had the beef stroganoff and the pork chop. The pork chop was cooked perfectly, plated well, and tasted incredible. The beef stroganoff was actually delicious and filling. The Mac and cheese was weak so next time I’ll pass and the carrots were good but not $9.00 good. To end we had the crème brûlée, we could not put our spoons down. All in all I had a really great birthday dinner and the service and the food makes me want to come back for more. Thank you again.
