  Excellent food. Very vibrant atmosphere. Service was not very good. We checked in at 6pm for a 630pm reservation. We were waiting for another couple so we would go to the bar for a drink and wait. The hostess told us that our table was ready whenever we were ready to sit. The other couple showed up at 615pm. We went to the desk to be seated only to learn that it would be 15 to 20 mins before a table would be ready. What happened to the "ready whenever we were ready to sit" we were told? We were informed that our table was given to another party. We ended up being seated on the 3rd floor. Steep climb up 2 levels, cold table next to a drafty window and low ceilings. The service on the 3rd floor wasn't very good. Dirty app dishes laid stacked on our table too long no one checked on us unless we flagged them down. I'd definitely go back for the food but wait for a seat at the bar. Better service at the bar.

  Sending recommendations all the way from Florida!! Every time I’ve visited Providence I’ve gone to Cassarino’s. I tell everyone at home about the food and what a wonderful place it is. This is absolutely one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of eating at! The service was impeccable and the food was chef’s kiss!

  Came here for my friend’s birthday celebration and we had such an incredible experience at this restaurant! The food was unforgettable. The steak was cooked to perfection tender, juicy, and full of flavor with every bite. And the calamari? Hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy, not chewy at all, and seasoned just right. ( forgot to take a photo i ate it soon as it got to the table 😅) The service was great and you can tell they really care about quality and presentation. If you’re looking for a place that delivers delicious food and a great dining experience, this is definitely the spot. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

  A bit of a harsh experience and review because this took place on a Saturday Night at the peak of rush. We sat down as a group on the 2nd floor. The table was fine but right next to the bathroom - we actually moved it over toward the wall to give it some distance. It was loud and the sound echoed. It wasn't terrible, but there weren't any cross-table conversations really. The server took a while for everything - took a while to get water, took a while to take orders, took a while to bring drinks, took a while to bring food... after the food came who cares. The gaps between things though were made more awkwardly by the waiter, who would come to the table and ask if we wanted to order more food or drinks while we were waiting for him to bring food and drinks that we had already ordered. He was busy, the kitchen was busy, everyone was busy - it's a Saturday Night. If it was like this somewhere else on an off-night, they'd be getting skewered, so consider that for perspective. The food was still excellent. Everyone nearly cleared their plates. The kitchen had no problem accommodating one person's dietary restrictions, and everyone was happy.

  Delicious food! We got an app, drinks, and 2 mains and all were great. I especially love that they have options for people with allergies. My only complaint is that we felt very rushed. We went here to celebrate our anniversary and enjoy conversation, but we were interrupted so frequently to be asked if we wanted a box it took away from the flow of the evening. I understand that they want to keep tables moving, but we went in very early evening on a Sunday and the restaurant was not packed. Asking how things are or if we need anything else is appreciated. But, we were asked multiple times if we wanted a box while our food was still steaming and we had barely had a bite.
