  Kind of pricey for the goods they sell. Definitely shopping sale items. You can definitely get non sale items cheaper someplace else.

  I had an online pickup and when I got home to take the stuff out they gave me stuff I didn’t order and I order a box of donuts and they replaced it for a pack of 5 donuts.

  I have absolutely had it with stop and shop peapod delivery ever since they fired all their in house delivery drivers. Just had the most appalling customer service experience ever! We ordered groceries as we normally do for a mentally handicapped family member. Today he received his groceries at 10 am but was confused because he did not receive some of his regular items. We discovered the driver delivered the wrong order! I immediately called customer service who acknowledged the issue but never apologized. They said they could deliver the correct order but not to worry about the incorrect order. We rescheduled the delivery for later today which was convenient. The driver arrived around 3 with the correct order but started to demand that my mentally handicapped family member return all the items from the incorrect order delivered earlier. The family member was thoroughly confused because we were never informed that these item needed to be returned. He was planning on throwing out some of the items because they were things he would not use. A few refrigerated items were still sitting in a bag on his counter because he was going to throw them out. The driver demanded he return all the incorrect items. Our family member didn’t recall what was in the order because these were things he didn’t usually order. So he just started packing up random items from his pantry and gave the driver the bag plus the refrigerator items that had been sitting on his counter. I have no idea what was to become of these items that were returned but it’s completely disgusting to me that stop and shop would demand the items be returned in the first place. Theses drivers have zero customer service skills. They are rude and inconsiderate and if it were my company would be an embarrassment. I refuse to shop stop and shop delivery until they return their staff of drivers who would never have delivered the wrong order in the first place let alone demand a handicapped person scurry around and try to figure out what items were incorrect especially when some items from the incorrect order should have been in his order! Absolutely terrible experience!!

  I was in the area of your stop and shop today and I stop there. I usually go to the Manton ave location. I was so pleased to be ask by three different employees if I needed help. Very courteous and attentive staff. So unlike the Manton staff which have to be forced to do their job. (Especially the heavyset guy ((nothing wrong with that))who can barely fit into the butchers white jacket that stocks the hotdog/steak/hamburger section! He is the most rude, unhappy, and clearly hates people and his job.) Your store rekindled what I missed for many years which is cleanliness, politeness, and an overwhelming feeling of being a valued customer! Ty to all who works for this stop and shop. GOOD JOB!!!
