Asked a clerk where the cut cantelope is, she said up front, it wasn't there, she was screaming endcap but I got yelled at. If she said it was on the endcap to begin with, right away I would have known. Happened Friday morning Feb 20th.

We had a full cart and started unloading, cashier threw the "12 items or less light" on and told us that we were in the wrong lane, but there were NO lanes allowing more than 12 items now. After apologizing thinking we made a mistake, the cashier said she would still help but but to apologize to the people behind us. I looked all around soon thereafter, two lanes were open, both 12 items or less and the self checkout. I asked why there wasn't a lane for larger carts and was told "I don't know what to tell you". They were rude during the entire exchange. My wife noted she notice the cashier throw the light on after the noticed our larger cart. Don't shop here, not worth dealing with the rude employees.
- ABAmy BenzoNov 4, 20251.0This Stop and Shop is one of the worst ones in the area, we frequently buy food from them that goes bad within a day of bringing it home, inside of the expiration date. They also frequently leave expired food on the shelves so you have to spend a lot of time sorting through food before picking something out. We’ve easily thrown away hundreds of dollars within the last few months because food is rotten or moldy within the expiration date. I won’t shop here anymore.
