In short, the best chicken fajitas I have ever had. Their homemade dipping sauce was so delicious. I would buy a bottle if they were for sale.
If I lived here, I could visit regularly.
Staff are friendly and the place is lively.
It was a great find.

Waitress was lovely, but the food was not good. Tacos were very dry and taco shells tasted like they came out of the microwave.

Best place for a special event!! My friends had their small marriage ceremony at the local courthouse and I obviously wanted to take them out for dinner afterward. La Vecina was nearby and we had enjoyed dining there before. I told La Vecina the event in advance and my friends and I were treated SO WELL. Thank you SO MUCH to all the staff that was so attentive. Adrienne was our host that evening and she went so above and beyond to make the night special. All the staff came by to congratulate my friends, they were beaming by the end of our evening. All food and drinks and extra treats were speedy and delicious.
Thank you La Vecina and we will definitely come again soon!

I went there yesterday for an early dinner and was so disappointed. Well for starters soft drinks are 7.5 ounces for $3, not even a normal size can. I ordered the flank steak thinking, you can't go wrong with a steak, seemed like a solid choice. It's also one of their most expensive platers($26). Boy was I mistaken, the steak was bland, had no seasoning and not even the chimichurri could save it (all I could taste was vinegar). The rice was undercooked and unflavored, reminiscent of hospital food. The zucchini and squash were both gross, slimy and again unseasoned. Their tortilla chips were good. I ended up having to pick up a food on my walk back from the restaurant, since all I could eat was the steak. Maybe I should have tried a taco first. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Definitely left a lot to be desired, to say the least.
