- TDTommy D'AngeloJul 18, 20221.0Very disappointed when I was informed I could not use a Subway coupon I had. There was a note from the owner stating that due to rising food costs they could no longer honor coupons. This is complete bush league and a slap in the face to customers. If the owner has a problem with corporate sending coupons to long-term customers like me who have spent hundreds of dollars at Subway stores then he or she should take it up with corporate and not take it out on customers. If that wasn’t bad enough there was a note that they would accept coupons on the new sandwiches. Wow. Just wow. I am still in shock that I have a coupon that says Subway on it and a Subway store will not accept it. Just stunned. We are all dealing with rising costs but this is not the way. When I pay the advertised price for a product I am keeping an agreement with that company. When a store sends me a coupon and then tells me they can’t honor it for no valid reason then they aren’t holding up their agreements with customers. Shameful. You lost my business.
