We were cutting it down to the minute to catch the ferry and we called ahead to ensure that the grocery pickup would be ready. When we pulled into the lot, they brought the groceries to our car within seconds. We were able to catch the ferry with 1 minute to spare. Thanks for the fast service! All the fresh produce was quality as well.

Prices has gone up again. There so called rolling back the prices didnt last long. The produce is crap. Always brown, tomatoes so soft you can barely find a good one. Workers always standing around talking, swearing like they're outside. Never anyone who can help you or wants to help you. Have to go to walmart or shaws to find the stuff they dont carry.

Staff and selection are great. I'm always treated well and rarely are they out of something I want. Their prices are not always better or worse than Clements' Marketplace down the road, it just depends on the item and week with a few caveats. I find that S&S's breads and produce tend to go bad or grow mold earlier than I would expect compared to similar products from Aldi or Market Basket; Odd to me but I feel that's accurate. I used to go more often when they had Wing Zings at the hot-bar, but the honey wings they replaced them with are not a as good so I typically go elsewhere now when I shop before lunch and want a fun treat. I get that it takes time to learn the new placement of items after their re-design, but some things still just seem out of place or in an inconvenient place. Overall, Its an ok place to grocery-shop but we go out of our way for better quality or prices when we can.

I am a disabled veteran with obvious mobility issues. I’ve shopped at Bristol S&S for years and I’ve enjoyed the attentive and polite workers, but not today. It was busy but only one checkout lane was open and it was marked 12 items or less, but there were fully loaded carts ahead of me. Some people behind me were waved into two lanes that were not marked as open. Being disabled and leaning on a cane I could not get there fast enough. The manager was obviously not paying attention. If a lane is open shouldn’t the sign be illuminated? Shouldn’t people already in line at a nearby lane be called over, rather than taking shoppers who come running down the aisles? I only hope this was a one time event because I’d hate to drive to another store twice a week.
