I used Uber pick up today, scheduled it and had my fiancee pick it up for me. to his surprise, with the screenshots of my order and the name on the order . the manager Tushan refused to give him my order. I even asked to speak over the phone to approve it and was told it doesn't matter you need to be here... just so you're aware, manager Tushan... in the uber policy "Officially, the Uber Eats help describes pickup orders as something the customer collects. There’s no explicit policy text saying that someone else is allowed or not allowed to pick it up for you." And spoke with uber and they said the same thing and were confused as to why this was the scenario. im injured and can barely walk... so my fiance was picking my food up for me. Now I have no food, my break is done, and I have to wait till the end of the day to eat. So thank you for such amazing customer service, rude commentary and not understand ubers policy and making it extremely difficult to proceed. i eat here all the time, but now i am done and will move over to another restaurant.... find a better way to run your business..
