    La semaine dernière, je me suis rendue au Subway .Ayant des problèmes de vue, j’ai simplement demandé au monsieur au comptoir de m’expliquer ce que contenait le trio, puisque je ne pouvais pas lire l’affichage. Sa réponse a été sèche et brusque : « C’est affiché là », sans aucune considération lorsque je lui ai expliqué ma situation. J’ai trouvé son attitude bête, raide et vraiment incorrecte. Un minimum de compassion et de respect envers la clientèle devrait aller de soi, surtout lorsque quelqu’un explique une limitation comme un problème de vue. Malheureusement, même à la caisse, lorsque j’ai mentionné la situation, je n’ai ressenti aucune écoute. La clientèle est essentielle à la survie d’un commerce, et ce genre d’attitude est inadmissible. Pour ma part, je ne retournerai plus dans ce restaurant. J’espère sincèrement que la direction sensibilisera son personnel à l’importance du respect et de l’empathie envers tous les clients.

    I had a very unpleasant experience at this Subway location today. When I arrived, no one was at the front, so I said “hello” to see if anyone was there. A man then came out from the back and responded with attitude, saying things like “I don’t work for you” and “you have to wait.” I was surprised and felt disrespected because I hadn’t said anything rude—just “hello,” since I couldn’t see anyone. I agreed to waiting but he continued to give me attitude. I explained that I didn’t mean any harm, but he kept talking down to me. I decided not to place my order because I didn’t feel comfortable being treated that way. This interaction was disappointing and unprofessional. I hope management addresses this behavior so no one else is treated this way. Edit: first off, I do not know that there are cameras to see in the front. I just looked around to see if anyone was there. Once I did, I only said “hello” once. I never shouted. I never KEPT shouting. If you have cameras recording it, you would see the incident. I only said “hello” once to see if anyone as there and then someone had sticked their head out from the back to tell me he was doing something in the back and asked to wait which I replied ok. Near the end of his sentence he seemed to be giving me attitude and so I asked “why the sudden attitude” and he proclaimed that “you see me in the back doing something, you must wait. I don’t work for you. When I’ve finished what I’m doing, I’ll come to you”. I understood him but did not tolerate his attitude towards me because all I said was hello to see if anyone was there. An innocent hello. I will not tolerate you saying lies such as “I kept shouting” because that’s not true. There were people eating in that food court as my witness and the person I was on call with during the time who heard the whole altercation. It’s very saddening to receive this attitude as well as your response to the situation. Do better. You have countless amount of reviews with the same type of complaint so this isn’t the first time. If I was in the wrong, I’d take full ownership about it, but my intentions were innocent.
