The service was extremely poor—staff were slow, unprofessional, and seemed uninterested in helping customers. In a city like Montreal, where French is essential, the employees couldn’t even communicate properly in French, which is unacceptable for a customer-facing business. To make matters worse, the hygiene standards were shocking. One employee was openly chewing tobacco, and another was spitting directly into the garbage in front of customers. This behavior is completely inappropriate and raises serious concerns about food safety. I don’t understand how Subway hires such people without proper checks. The City’s food inspectors, as well as Subway’s own management, need to investigate this location immediately before someone gets sick.
