Service at the cash was good but I never ate discusting food like this. The fries were so dry we could hardly shew them, overcooked. Cheese in poutine was old and sauce had no taste. Hot dog was dry like crazy. Seriously just don't go there.

Food. Average nothing special. Service. Pending on traffic in the mall foodcourt but reasonably quick. Atmosphere. It’s a mall foodcourt, it’s noisy, imperosnal, no personal space and it’s just to eat an go. So this is a French fry place whose main purpose was to create an authentic Canadian (Quebec) style twice fried potato. They added other items to round out the menu as you simply can’t make enough money on a French fry or variations such as various poutines. So today’s nosh was a basic hot dog to see how it truly tastes without any additives and what the quality was. The fry was simple for the same purpose and the soda - well it’s soda. So for $16 and change, keep in mind now, the fry portion was seriously and disgustingly small. Fries cost very very little and there is lots of profit on French fries, the container should have had fries pouring out of the box. This is a total rip off. The hot dog was average to below average. Yes, I know Costco loses money on their dogs but their dogs taste great - aside from the low cost. This dog was thicker and a tad juicier than say a Decarie ahoy dog or a Lafleur Hot Dog, but not much better. A great hot dog, such as Nathan’s out of New York for example, tastes amazing without anything on it. This dog is not anything special it’s clear it was about procuring a hot dog to compliment their menus as opposed to selecting a unique custom made high quality dogs with various unique seasonings, ingredients like cheese, or even adding sausages etc. Or maybe a burger dog. All I can say is this is not a culinary delight to eat here. This is a simple fast decision to eat here because it was the “least busy” of ALL the restaurants in the busy foodcourt. Quite telling right? So would I eat at Thai franchise again - anywhere? Not on your life. For this price I could have enjoyed a lot more food elsewhere, higher quality food elsewhere, and better quality taste by hot dogs anywhere to a large degree. Their saving grace is their home made fresh cut French fry. But, the problem is it’s way way over priced and of course the portion to me, is like stealing money out of my pocket this being stated I didn’t loo at the price until after I paid thinking that this can’t be too expensive, it’s a fry, a drink, and a hot dog. For this low level quality and portion I could have spent less and had a nice fresh bowl of pasta at Adelina, or pizza at Tevere, or a nice souvlaki at the Souvlaki Bar, and the list goes on. So no, not a repeat.
