    We arrived for a late lunch at 1:30 pm on 2025-11-14, well after the lunch crowd had cleared. Only 3–4 tables were occupied, yet it took the hostess five minutes to decide where to seat us. We ordered from the “midi-go” lunch menu, but our food didn’t arrive for a full hour. During that time, the restaurant emptied out completely except for one other table. We asked three different servers about the delay, and while our server apologized, she could only offer a vague explanation that she “wasn’t sure what was going on in the kitchen.” Clearly the restaurant and kitchen were not busy. We asked to speak to the manager, but no one ever came. No courtesy discount was offered and we were charged the full amount for the meal. For an almost empty restaurant, the wait was unacceptable and left us very disappointed. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

    Very poor new invoicing system and manager who has no concept of customer service.The issue was not the food nor the waitress everything was fine till she gave us the wrong bill which i paid and did not realize it was wrong because i did not look at detail.She advised us there was something wrong and left with the bill to fix it. I then assumed they had undercharged us.Ok but then 10 minutes pass and she said they were working on it.An other 5 to10 minutes pass and i go over to the counter where the manager was and asked what was going he said they were working on it but still no one told me exactly what the problem was.I asked what was taking so long and he answered me well we have other customers to serve and a kitchen to run with a very indifferent attitude.After another 5- 10 minutes we got up to leave and waitress said it would be another 5 or 10 min i then got somewhat annoyed then we decided to ask someone else what was going on and we walked to the front entrance.A very nice young lady was trying to fix it but said the system did not allow to just credit bill and issue new one .Unbelievable! Manager finally came back again with no notion of how to treat a customer and my wife solved it by by paying difference in cash.Both the cashier and Manager blame the system and they had told their boss.So it was over a half hour to resolve a very simple mistake however system never corrected.So we pay full price,some apologies but basically victims to a system and Manager who was not equipped to handle the situation and clearly does not care about customers.We have been going there for over 40 years and treated like we were the problem.Compensation for the restaurants error not a chance just indifference from the manager.I will say the 2 young ladies were very nice but victims of a bad supervisor.Our food was good but overshadowed by the incident.I actually worked on some fundraising projects with the original owner and the local YMCA he would of never have accepted the situation.Long term loyal customers maybe lost forever. Restaurants are at a critical moment in there evolution and Customer Service is critical to survival. I will be contacting the the Head Office.

    First of all, the lady at the cash register refused to serve us in french, I switched to English because I didn't feel like arguing. Second, I ask for a gluten-free meal because my mother has celiac diseaseand in her case, literally any trace of gluten makes her sick). We get home and find that there was a slice of bread under fries and a cup of gravy next to her chicken. Like excuse me?? We SPECIFIED that it was an allergy, she assured me TWICE that it was good and we find BREAD???? hello??

    We had a disappointing experience at St-Hubert on a quiet Tuesday afternoon when the young female manager rudely turned us away due to a supposed staff shortage, despite only four other couples dining in. We offered to wait and were happy to be patient, but her dismissive attitude made it clear we weren’t welcome. While we understand staffing issues can happen, the unprofessional and unfriendly treatment was unacceptable. We left feeling disrespected and won’t be returning.
