This is a processed food restaurant, and even the salad was ‚limp‘, sorry to say this place will only be on my visit list prior to close starvation

We arrived at the East Side Mario’s last Saturday evening at 7pm in Bromont, Qc with our 4 children whom were extremely hungry. We were greeted by a nice young (and I mean young) teenager maybe 14 years old who was friendly and polite. He sat us at a table where we waited and waited and waited for our waitress whom after 20 minutes came to see us thanks to me getting up and asking for service. She took our order and brought me my kids apple juice, myself a beer and my wife her soda. Then she brought us bread without dishes….she then came back to our table I am not exaggerating 15 minutes later to inform us that it would take at least another hour for our kids to get their meals because they were understaffed. I asked to pay the bill which I did the drinks; and we left. Wasted 35 minutes for nothing! I politely asked to speak to the manger and told her that it was a very ordinary experience and she didn’t seem to care. It’s no wonder why this chain is closing everywhere and a miracle that they are still Open in Bromont, Qc. We will NEVER step foot in that restaurant again. Just being honest & wish them Good luck cause they need it if they want to keep customers!

A masterclass in how not to run a restaurant. We arrived at 6:30 on a Saturday night without a reservation and were seated quickly. That was the only thing that went smoothly. Then came the waiting game. Forty minutes passed before anyone brought menus or acknowledged us. I started noticing something odd—no one around us had food. It felt more like a holding area than a dining room. When the waiter finally showed up, we ordered a 4-meat pizza, chicken and shrimp scampi, a Brio, and a Corona Cero. He came by after a good 30-40 minutes to tell us the shrimp might take a while. Apparently, they were catching them fresh. The food arrived just before 8pm. My pizza looked like it had been ready for ages—dry, barely warm, and the crust? Pure white bread. Not pizza dough. Not even close. It tasted like someone tried to recreate pizza based on a vague description and a blurry photo. My girlfriend’s scampi didn’t fare much better. She said the sauce was “unusual,” to put it nicely, ate most but left half of the chicken, and asked for a takeout box. The waiter dropped a plastic container on the table and walked off. No offer to pack it up—apparently, that’s now a DIY task. Isn't that why we tip? To top it off, the $3.99 Corona Cero was listed as a $5.49 Becks s/a on the bill. I didn’t bother arguing. The waiter never came back for the card machine anyway—I paid and left, just glad it was over. Now, to be fair: the staff on hand seemed to be doing their best. But it was painfully obvious they were understaffed for such a busy night, and the whole experience suffered because of it. This wasn’t my first visit, but it will absolutely be my last. If you’re in the mood for long waits, dry pizza, and DIY leftovers, this place has you covered.

I am disappointed by how my son and I were treated tonight. We were told there was no space without a reservation, but I was able to book a table online just minutes later. When we returned, others without reservations were seated, and the staff made us feel unwelcome even after confirming our booking. The food didn’t make up for it either, wilted salad, burnt cheese on the pasta, and no Parmesan offered. We waited an hour to get our bill. This used to be a great restaurant, but after the experience tonight, I won’t be coming back & don’t recommend it Je suis vraiment déçue de la façon dont mon fils et moi avons été traités ce soir.
