I was really excited to have a BK so close to my home, the Whopper is easily my favorite fast food burger on the market. And paired with the fact Robbins closed its doors the same month BK opened, I thought it was nice to have a place I can run for breakfast when I was in a rush.
However, this restaurant is in dire need or better management, more funding, or both. It honestly seems like they either don't have the funding to fix the issues that already tarnish the experience, or a manager that doesn't care to fix them.
There are only two good things I can say about this location as is, it can be pretty inexpensive. and that while its pretty bad in most regards, its not the worst in any.
As mentioned earlier I love me a good Whopper, the Whoppers at this location are mostly fine, except the fact the tomatoes are thicker than the beef. This is not saying the beef is thin, because they are the standard whopper size, but I've gotten Jr Whoppers three times and every time the tomato is thicker than my thumb.
As mentioned in other comments, most are well aware of their very weirdly long wait times and their lack of actually having the items on their menu. Which I thought was acceptable due to being so new, and they likely dont have access to actually change digital menus. However, I recently went in for breakfast and they had little slips at the counter mentioning a home style breakfast, It looked great and asked for it. The person behind the counter looked at it and went "No". After a few seconds, they said they would ask their manager, and they said they don't sell those there. Then why even put them out? Again, I understood the digital menu, but this was a physical object put out on the counter, when then staff didn't even know what it was.
We chose to go with a two can dine Breakfast deal, it came with two breakfast sandwiches, two small hashbrown bites, and Coffee. We got our sandwiches and hashbrowns but our coffees were going to be brought to us later, because they hadn't made coffee yet that day. It was 10:30am. So we went to go sit down, and eat our food while we waited on our coffee. Thats when we realized they had no dispensary for cutlery, napkins, or ketchup.
Well, we sat down, started to eat our food and it was somehow, not hot. Luke warm sandwiches (With grey, undercooked bacon) and cold hashbrowns. Our coffees came after we finished eating, I got up to use their washroom and it was somehow dirty. the place was dead, our order number for the day, was under 10. They had less than 10 orders throughout the entire day, and somehow, the bathrooms were dirty.
As we were leaving, a man at the counter was there complaining that his veggie burger had bacon on it. We sat back in the car to drink our coffees and noticed that were somehow both Luke warm and burnt. No idea how thats possible if they just made them.
All of that massive yap could be resolved with one good manager and a bit of funding. But as of the time being, I can not recommend this place, even if you live locally.
