DISGUSTING Hands down the absolute rudest staff I have ever dealt with in my 49 years on earth. Everyone except for the older lady in Customer Service(she is wonderful) and the younger lady who replaces her when she's not there(she too, is wonderful), is just insanely rude and ignorant. I have never seen anything like it. Usually you're going to have a rude person working in a store, that's to be expected. But 98% of the ladies working in here are just awful. They really should be ashamed of themselves. I know so many people who refuse to go here anymore. Many of the people that do go here are basically forced to because they live in one of the nearby apartment buildings or hotels and have no transportation. This is the only grocery store within walking distance. Im willing to bet that if you stood outside and took a poll of people exiting the store and ask them if they had a positive or negative experience with the checkout ladies, 9 out of 10 would say negative. And the 1 person who didn't has a relative working in there... guaranteed. CTown, you are literally the worst grocery store that I have ever been to and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Be nice. Do better. You cannot possibly do any worse. Actually, you probably could do worse. Y'all are so nasty that I'm sure you sit around and think of new ways to be even nastier. Y'all probably compete with each other to see who can be the nastiest. There is no other explanation really. It's just incomprehensible how so many people working in the same place can be so nasty. I will literally not eat before I go in to this trash heap ever again. I gave this place many tries. Never, ever, EVER again. 0 out of 10. I'd give it negative if I could. Seriously, y'all should be ashamed of yourselves. You're adults. You're at work. You serve the general public who in turn pays your salary. Grow up and act like adults. I realize that I'm going on and on but that's how nasty these women are. It's insane. As far as the food... You had better check the expiration dates. And sometimes you have to look for them really hard because they put little stickers over them that will say "SALE". Especially the pre-packed lunchmeat against the far wall on the back left from where you walk in. If you peel that sticker back the expiration date will be a minimum of 2 days prior to whatever day you are currently there. The ham will be all wet with that white stuff forming on it. Disgusting. Do better CTown. This place really needs to have some inspector come in there. The produce is unbelievably borderline disgusting. At all times it's 12 hours from just being rotten. On everything else the prices are a solid 20% to 30% more expensive than anywhere else. And they do nothing about the multiple people who ask you for money as soon as you step outside. From the moment you walk in through the dirty door and onto the dirty floor where you first see the rotting fruit to your right until you walk out the other dirty door where four different people ask you for change, it's just a disgusting experience. It's ironic because you lose your appetite being here in this store full of food. The people who come here out of necessity who have no other shopping options within walking distance are the only reason that this place is still in business. If those people had a choice in where to shop, if they had better transportation options, this place would have FOR RENT signs out front. DISGUSTING STAFF DISGUSTING FOOD MANAGEMENT FAILURES IN EVERY FACET OF OPERATION. Oh and the shopping carts, Good Lord the shopping carts. If you rub your finger along any metal rail of any one of the shopping carts, your finger will be dirty. And the little plastic rectangle that flips up and down in the front of the cart? It's supposed to be red, but they are more like purple because of all the grime built into them over the years and going uncleaned the whole time it seems like. Disgusting.
