Chef Reeky’s establishment boasts a delightful ambiance that promotes relaxation, complemented by delectable dishes and a welcoming staff. Located around 11 miles from Center City in Woodlyn, a charming part of Ridley Township, Delaware County, PA, it provides a serene escape from the frenetic pace of Philadelphia. While this venue isn't exclusively vegan, it proudly offers a 100% vegan menu alongside traditional options, ensuring that everything is prepared in separate kitchens to avoid cross-contamination—a significant advantage for those with dietary restrictions and allergies. Hats off to our server, Erica, who was incredibly pleasant and, despite her limited knowledge of the menu, demonstrated an admirable commitment to discovering all the ingredients for us. The menu itself is straightforward, presented on a single laminated sheet with two sides: one dedicated to vegan selections and the other to conventional fare, making ordering a breeze. However, I would love to see greater transparency regarding the sourcing of vegan meats, cheeses, and the various sauces and condiments. I understand that transparency can be a challenge, but it’s crucial for vegans. That said, the food was quite good. I would rate their take on a corned beef special a solid 7 out of 10; it included all the necessary ingredients but lacked the traditional heft typically associated with a corned beef special. The meat was tasty, though the portion was disappointingly small, which is generally the highlight of such a dish. The quality of the bread was decent but not the freshest, which is understandable as that may not be their specialty. On the other hand, the coleslaw was outstanding, accompanied by a fine dressing. I believe these ingredients could be transformed into a fantastic Reuben, making it a more fitting addition to the menu—just my two cents as a seasoned chef. As for the Jamaican oxtails, I would rate them an impressive 8 out of 10. The generous portion served over jasmine rice was quite substantial, and the vegan oxtails were tender and well-executed, though I’m curious about their ingredients—having this listed would be immensely helpful. We also indulged in some fresh-pressed juices that were remarkable; I suspect they were made in-house. I truly appreciate the uniqueness of fresh-squeezed juices—they carry a distinct charm that sets them apart from mass-produced varieties, reflecting genuine care and craft. I would give both juices we tried a perfect 10 out of 10. You’ll find most of our experience captured in the videos I’ve uploaded. Overall, we enjoyed a satisfying outing with decent food, and we definitely look forward to returning to sample more of their best-selling dishes.

Just had a great experience at Chef Reeky’s. The staff is so kind & helpful. Between my parents and I, we got the mushroom disco fries, Sweet Cheezus French toast, and short rib cheesesteak. I have a lot of allergies so it’s great to go somewhere with dairy free alternatives. We got to talk to Chef Reeky for a second on a way out and he is awesome- we will be back!

My spouse and I decided to give the spot a try today. My spouse meal came how he asked for it to be made mine on the other had was not. I requested no onions on my cheesesteak and less sauce in my seafood bowl but I received the complete opposite. The wait was more than 30mins, I wouldn’t mind that if my food was served correctly.
