- JMJulia MimsMar 28, 20261.0**Update: McDonald’s Customer Care simply apologized and shared the information with the store. They “hope to have the opportunity to serve me again,” but the underwhelming service recovery does not motivate a customer who waited too long for a simple item and paid for an item they did not feel comfortable consuming. Horrible. Placed a mobile order for one large coffee only. 20 minutes later, I received it after mobile orders for others after me were completed. To top it off, a dirty lid was placed on my cup. It was already opened with a sticky substance by the opening. Unacceptable. Employee did say thank you for your patience; low level of service recovery. Will not return.

If not I use the app. App issues kept me for over an hour so I drove here and came inside. Breakfast ended two minutes early. I asked if any remained and got attitude from the red-haired employee. She said only two hashbrowns left. When I asked to buy them she replied “I guess.” I ordered a Shamrock Shake. Asked for a straw three times while trying to hand her a tip—she ignored me, looked away, and walked off. Finally got a kid-cup straw. The shake was not mixed; all syrup sat at the bottom. I tipped the young cook who kindly helped me get a straw because service is hard work. The front counter service was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. $8 for an undrinkable shake. I will not return on this shift—if ever.
