The machine wasn’t working properly and was delayed so a self-service employee had to come over around 8 times to clear it. I was there so long trying to check out that my 2 gallons of ice cream were melting and I had to replace them. I guess anytime you go to this Giant, you become an employee since there aren’t any cashiers. I’ve been shopping at this Giant from the very start but now will be going to Acme and ShopRite where they care about their customers!

Once I was going to get hot bar lunch and there was me and four other people waiting for like a half hour till after noon for the guy to put food out. The staff is constantly leaving huge carts of stock around the salad bar and deli areas making access difficult. It is also hard to find where items I need are shelved in the store, and they often don't have what I want in stock.
- LHLucky HeartSep 30, 20251.0845pm and all registers are closed i have to use self checkout. why am i paying these high prices if the wage of someone to check me out isnt even factored in when i have to do self checkout? i should get a discount for doing self checkout. also the self checkout machine is so slow and cumbersome it always thinks im trying to steal something when it doesnt scan fast enough. then i have to wait for an employee to come over to scan something. what the hell giant this is ridiculous. every giant location with conveyer belt self checkout is bad.
