  Ordered idli & sambhar for pickup, food & service was good. Not a nice sit down restaurant, more like casual pickup service.

  I have had very delicious food here. I don't know how authentic it is, I only I keep going back. I order a lot through Uber Eats for delivery or pick up. They have good deals on the app which prompted me to try a lot more new dishes. I can't get food from there without ordering the masala dosa. I also tried the vegetable biryani for the first time. I would get every time but I will eat too much in one sitting and have to censor myself. The mutter paneer is my favorite, although I wish I could get just the mutter as I love the sauce and peas so much. Honorable mention to the Idli dishes (haven't seen them anywhere else near me), palak paneer and laddoo. Took a star off for missing items in orders and the dining room always being extremely cold (I won't eat in house).

  We always get Indian takeout from Indian Hut. Food is consistently good.

  I stopped by Indian Hut in Norristown recently and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything tasted. The place feels very homey, and the staff are super nice — they take time to explain what’s on the menu if you’re not sure what to try. The food has that comforting homemade flavor that’s hard to find these days. Everything, from the curries to the naan, tasted freshly made and perfectly seasoned. The portions are generous, and everything came out hot and flavorful. One thing that really stood out for me was their cakes. I didn’t expect a restaurant known for savory Indian dishes to have desserts like that, but wow — their cakes are delicious! Soft, moist, and not overly sweet, they make the perfect way to end a meal. It’s very convenient that you can grab a full dinner and dessert in one spot. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the mood for authentic Indian food with a sweet touch at the end.
