  Recently ordered a bowl tonight to find PLASTIC in my bowl! Do not order from this location as the health standards are dangerously low. Unacceptable.

  Team shakes the utensil they use to serve, resulting in meager amounts of protein option. Provided feedback to the team members to please not shake the serving utensil. Unsure why the hurry.

  My husband and I went to chipotle in thorndale tonight with our two adult clients with autism. When we arrived there were no clean tables in the restaurant so we had to clear and move extra chairs to the side to accommodate us. We did it without complaint. The food unfortunately was not great. The brown rice was hard, so much I thought it was the steak being overcooked and tough but it was just the rice. Again we ate without complaint. At the end we noticed the trash cans were completely overfilled and spilling over, the client I work with noticed and let them know. At the end of our meal the staff just began addressing the trash however walked away with the trash bag not fully in the trash can to complain to the other staff about the soda spilled on the floor. Specifically to say “anyone with two eyes” could see this was not a trash can for sodas. The other trash was still piled up. So we decided to put all our trash on one tray neatly on the table since both trash cans were either out of commission or not fully set up. Again without complaint. While we were getting in our car I heard a woman staff yell across the parking lot to us “you could have told me you needed me to throw out your trash for you.” I walked back over to explain that we did let them know the trash was full and that we didn’t want to keep piling the trash higher so we simply put everything on the tray. Again she reiterated that we told them about the trash yes but not asked her to throw out our trash. It was totally uncalled for to confront us in the parking lot. Even the man I work with again who has autism and struggles to recognize social interactions said to me “well that was rude.” I usually skip this location and drive to the West Chester because it’s the best in the area but I figured I would give thorndale another chance. Clearly I was mistaken. The restaurant is always trashed, the workers are angry and annoyed and the food is never cooked right. The only regret I have is that I didn’t take pictures of the trash after she confronted me so I could post here.

  This experience just blew my mind as a customer and a business manager myself as I can describe my recent visit as a good example of things you should NOT do or allow in terms of customer service Starting from the dining area... disgustingly dirty specially the trash container inside overflowing tables chairs and benches dirty, I didnt mind cleaning my own table but again, this is staff responsibility to keep areas clean. The cherry on the top here is that after we politely advised the staff that the trash was overflowing and there was literally no space to add more... we left our tray with everything organized on it on our table and as we were walking out of the restaurant, one of the associates had the audacity to call out my wife to tell her "you should've told me if you needed me to pick up your trash". First for safety no employee should go out in a confrontational tone, I dont know this company's policy take on this but I do know several companies are against this practice but also to the point, if they were on top of their housekeeping tasks, this wouldn't happened in the first place. Definitely someone needs to reset expectations on this restaurant and take action.
