"If you’re looking for authentic Indian flavors in Stroudsburg, NYC Indian Grill is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the service was incredibly welcoming and attentive. We started with the Samosas, which were perfectly crispy, but the star of the show was definitely the Chicken Tikka Masala—the sauce was rich, creamy, and seasoned to perfection. We also ordered the Garlic Naan, which was fresh, fluffy, and great for dipping. It’s clear they use high-quality ingredients and take pride in their cooking. It’s easily some of the best Indian food I’ve had in the area. Highly recommend for a nice sit-down dinner or a high-quality takeout night!" SPECIAL THANKS TO NIK

This place is SO good, we had dinner here last night, there were 12 of us, within minute they accommodated us and once we put the large dinner order in, everything started coming out one by one, the food is FRESH and SO GOOD, this is not your typical Indian restaurant, this is fresh, tasty, and very authentic Indian food. Aside from the food part, the customer service was amazing, the gentleman behind the counter was wonderful and took care of us very well. You can see they take pride in their quality of food and service. Next time I am in the area, I am definitely going back. Thank you to the gentleman behind counter and staff for taking care of our large walk-in group very well and for amazing meal. STRONGLY recommend everyone to go check this place out.

Placed an order for chicken biryani. Went to pick it up and there was a mixup with the order, but the guy working was extremely nice and offered to remake the order with absolutely no hassle. It took less than ten minutes and the order was ready. I was really excited to try this place because of the 4.9 stars out of over 600 reviews. Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment. Initially, I thought I may have gotten the wrong dish again as all of the meat below the rice was extremely dark. When I placed everything onto a plate, I could see the chicken and started eating it. But I was completely overwhelmed by what I believe was cumin, to the point where that was the only thing I could taste. I only got about five or six bites in and I could not eat anymore. I had really expected a much more balanced and complex flavor from this dish. Additionally, I went back and looked at the picture on their website and it did not look the same as what I got. The rice in their photo was a uniform brown color, the chicken is light, and the photo had onions. As you can see from my photo, the rice is not a uniform color, the chicken is dark, and there are no onions. I mention the onions as I’m used to getting them in a chicken biryani dish. Considering how close this place is to friends and family, I really wanted to love this place. Maybe I caught them on an off night but I can only rate based on my experience.

While visiting the Poconos we were looking for an Indian restaurant and found this place by chance. We decided to check out the lunch buffet and the food was amazing. Not only did they have a wide variety of dishes, they had both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. I tried the vegetarian buffet and was amazed at the quality and taste; they had samosas, pakoras for appetizers; had daal makhni, bagara baigan; paneer masala, Alu gobhi with jeera rice and Garlic naan. For dessert they served hot gulab jamuns. They also had some juices, lemon water and masala chai. Our server, Nick was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our time and will come back if we are in the area. Highly recommended!! 👌

The restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere with soft music playing in the background. The best part was the unlimited food. There were many dishes to choose from like butter chicken, dal makhni, paneer, rice, naan, and different vegetable curries. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and not too spicy, which I liked. The naan was soft and served hot, and the curries had rich taste. The staff were good, kept bringing more food and were very polite and attentive. I never had to wait long for refills.
