  You need to fire the people who are working tonight. The absolute worst experience we have ever had, the obvious college kid who probably can’t afford his lifestyle, hated his life, and was rude to the people in front of me and then me. He was very agitated when they asked for no beans and started throwing his hands up asking if they wanted it to be remade. They were too nice to say anything. They were clearly uncomfortable, fire this employee he doesn’t deserve to be employed. All they were concerned about is their phones.

  I would like to take a moment and say thank you to Chipotle (State College) for a terrible dinning experience on 02/27/26 at your N Atherton location. At least seven employees present. one working the front line 6 others standing around, dancing, checking their phones all the while the poor guy working the line (8 people deep) was doing everything he could to keep up while the others screwed around. The restaurant was trashed. None of the table’s were wiped down, garbage overflowing onto the floor, garbage all around the condiment area, the back where they serve food from was a complete mess as was the area where they prep food. It was BAD. not to mention, they were out of a lot of their ingredients. We watched at least 20 people come in and walk right back out. When I called corporate to let them know they just said ok, we’ll look into it and offered me a free drink.I don’t want a free drink. I want you to DO BETTER!. I asked to have the manager contact me and was told they don’t do that.

  When I asked for salt on the side, I was told that Chipotle is no longer allowed to give salt to customers. They were very rude about it which seemed kind of odd to me. Then the guy said he personally made the chips that morning and he put tons of salt on them. When I sat down my chips hardly had any salt at all, so I walked up and politely showed him and said would you mind if I have some salt? Another guy in line working said no you can’t. And when I asked again, he looked back at a woman who I assumed was the manager, and she rolled her eyes at him. So finally, I pulled out a $10 bill and said can I please just buy some salt this is ridiculous that you won’t give it to me. And the guy behind the counter said I’m not sure if we’re allowed to sell it to you. Finally, the manager gave him some salt and they charged me $1.50 for salt that should’ve already been on the chips in the first place. It was shocking how rude they were. And I have no idea why. Anyway, I would never go back to this chipotle but I do love the food in general.

  Three hours before closing on a weekend, and they were out of every single item except for brown rice, cheese, and two of the meats. Staff told me this happens every day. Not sure how they’re still in business, the staff were super nice though.
