-I dined here with my mother on Monday, November 17 around 5 PM. Unfortunately, this time, was a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience. Our waiter, Howard took our order and I ordered the bloomin’ fried chicken with two sides (mashed potatoes and fries) and my mother ordered the Aussie three course meal. During this time, one of the managers, Sammy came up to our table and gave us a card to get discounted appetizers, which was very nice. After he left, I took a bite of the fried chicken, it was very salty where I could not eat it. Instead, I tried to eat the mashed potatoes and the fries instead. I tried to get the attention of my waiter to tell him, and he told me one second, but never returned back to our table. Instead, we were able to get the attention of the manager Sammy, and I explained to him about the meal and he offered a substitute instead and I ordered the grilled shrimp on the Barbie. When I received this dish, I went to try the noodles first, and it was very hard and not edible. I felt bad for complaining again, despite the fact that I was starving. Sammy came up to our table and asked me how was the food. I told him honestly that the noodles were not cooked all the way and that they were hard. In a disgruntled tone, he told me “That’s just the way how it’s done” and abruptly walked away. I was so hungry that my mom was cutting pieces of her steak to give to me to eat instead. During this time, Howard finally returned back to the table but only to take back the bloomin’ fried chicken and the two sides (which I was still eating from and I didn’t even register that he was taking that away from me). I didn’t receive two sides with the grilled shrimp on the Barbie as it says it comes with two sides per the menu. Also to note, the waiter never even once asked my mother and I, what happened or what he can do to help and continued to ignore us during our dining experience here. I was really disappointed and shocked at how the manager and the waiter treated us during this time and I heard both of them gossiping about me behind my table. This experience made me felt bad for speaking up because I really wanted to enjoy my meal and not burden the employees, but at the same time if the food is not cooked all the way, that needs to be addressed. It was at this point, when a female manager, Lachelle approached my table to ask me what happened. I hesitated on explaining myself again because I felt bad for complaining. Ultimately, I ended up explaining the whole situation to her, and she was very understanding and caring regarding my concerns. She noticed my full plate of food on the table and that I was picking at it and asked me what I would like to have instead. She offered a complimentary steak similar to what my mother ordered as that was the only thing I enjoyed as well as a complimentary slice of cheesecake. She is very personable and easy to talk to as she genuinely listened to me and addressed my concerns. When she went to get the food, Howard returned back to my table again, not to ask me and my mother what happened or what he can do to help, but instead wanted to get into my business and in a disgruntled tone, asked me “ What else did you get?” and went to pick up the plate of grilled shrimp on the Barbie as that seems to be the only thing he knows how to do is take food away from people. I mentioned this to Lachelle when she returned back to our table on the lack of professionalism here especially when it comes to addressing customer satisfaction and the fact that I could hear them gossiping about me behind my table as this was very childish and inappropriate. She stated she was aware of this, which was another reason why she came up to my table. Overall, I’m very disappointed with the food and the service here, but we will only be returning back here for Lachelle.

Our hostess, Shannon, is a gem! So attentive, even going an extra step offering my husband a chilled mug for his beer. We went on Veterans Day and fully expected the wait to be long - she even apologized for the wait times - but honestly, we had great drinks, free bread, and time for longer conversations. Yall - the burger slaps! And so did the raspberry cheesecake. Just do that Aussie 3 course meal and thank me later.

I was once a regular at this establishment. I enjoyed going here because of the great food and service. I visited it again this evening and the experience was very disappointing. The service was great, but the food was awful and it seems that some of the portion sizes have shrunk. The takeout order for others in my family was also incorrect, but I’m not rating based on that. short review: I think this place has taken a nose dive.

You can call me NBA old girl…NEVER BACK AGAIN!! First, and worst of all, there was what looked like a pubic hair on my bread plate. They took an appetizer off the bill, not enough to compensate me for the trauma. Here is a picture of the old decrepit, embalmed looking lemon they garnished our drink with. Ordered medium steak and on both entrées got well done shoe leather with a bunch of fat underneath of it. The french fries were greasy and old, no flavor nor seasoning. The best thing that happened was that I made memories at the restaurant with my family. Y’all need to do better or close down.

Lived in Springfield 17 years. Divorced I use to go once a month. Went there couple of days ago ordered 8 oz. sirloin. They didn't put any tenderizer on it and full.of grisle. I ate most of it .Manager asked how was ever thing. And I told him he offered a refund or discount. I just said no thanks I will not come back. I wasn't trying to get a free meal, just wanted a nice dinner I didn't have to clean up. Management tried to make me happy. At that time after getting muscle cramps from chewing on that piece of shoe leather paid the bill gave 20% tip no problem I will not be like Arnold Swartsanegger I won't be back. Should have known Friday night at 6 o'clock places was less than half full
