If I could give zero stars, I would. As a customer with kids, the drive-thru is a necessity, not a luxury. I placed my regular order, asking for specific, readily available donuts, only to be met by an unprofessional employee who insisted, "You'll have to come inside if you want specific donuts. Otherwise, it’s assorted only." This is complete garbage and patently untrue. This establishment has never enforced an "assorted only" rule at the drive-thru before, and it is obvious this was a case of pure, unadulterated laziness. The employee simply did not want to take the extra 30 seconds to look for the requested items. Let me be perfectly clear for the management and the staff: you do not limit your paying customers to assorted items just because they are utilizing the service you provide. Drive-thrus are for convenience, and demanding customers haul their children inside for a standard donut order is a failure of service, training, and common sense. If your staff is too lazy to fulfill a basic request, then perhaps they shouldn't be working at a customer-facing window. Do not patronize this location if you expect standard service; you will be met with fabricated rules designed to reduce the workload of an unmotivated employee. Shameful.
