It was so busy!
The lovely people working at this location were swamped when I came in. They greeted me and said they would be right with me. I told them to take their time. There were mobile orders and people that ordered at the counter, so it was a bit hectic for 125 PM on a Saturday.
After my order was taken, I watched. They are methodical and kind. If any mistakes happen (rarely) they go above and beyond to remedy them immediately after apologizing. My food was hot and delicious, as always (I love Tropical Smoothie Café, since I discovered them in 2022 coming back from Harrisburg), and my açai berry smoothie was refreshing. I highly recommend this location. If they're busy, please be kind.
Ordered a Jetty Punch Smoothie. I had to stretch my neck over cash register to watch her make it. It was several different powders, some red syrup (probably strawberry flavored) and 2 pcs of real banana. NOT how I want a healthy Smoothie!!! I want all fresh ingredients!

We have been very pleased with the new management team here. The smoothies are as good as always but what really impresses me is the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff team now, as well as the cleanliness of the store! This new management has the store running like a well oiled machine and we couldn’t be more excited to come every week after cheer practice!
DON’T GO TO THIS LOCATION!!
My boyfriend and I just walked in and out. The place is run by children as noted by other reviews and now by us. We get to the register and start looking over the menu. No one ever greeted us and when we were ready to order the young girl behind the counter was texting and had an ear bud in; never looked up. Another girl who was cutting up fruit told her to help us and she didn’t want to. Then off to the side, the owner or manager got up from what looked like a meeting and told her to help us. She said she didn’t have her cash, but if she asked us she would have known we were paying with a card. Then one of her friends waked inside and she ran over to her. The manager then took our order. As we were ordering one of the employees, who at least had gloves on came out with street clothes and her bra and midriff showing. At that point we walked out, don’t need something going wrong with our food.
To be completely honest, customer service at this location has been inconsistent, and it’s made me question whether I want to continue supporting it. The overall atmosphere isn’t very welcoming. Most of the staff come across as disengaged, although the woman who makes the smoothies is always kind and pleasant.
That said, I’ve continued to come in a few times a week because my job is nearby.
During my most recent visit, I had an issue that really stood out. When I went to insert my straw, I didn’t realize the lid opening had a slight defect, making it tighter than normal. As I pushed the straw in, the smoothie tipped over and spilled onto the floor within about 30 seconds of receiving it.
I’ll take responsibility since normally this isn’t an issue, but what was disappointing was the response. After clearly losing most of my drink right after purchasing it, the manager didn’t offer any assistance or attempt to make it right. I understand he wasn’t obligated to replace it, but even a small gesture would have gone a long way.
This location will likely continue to get business due to its proximity to Costco, but in terms of customer experience, it’s one of the least welcoming locations I’ve been to.
