My friends and I had a terrible experience. We walked in with crumbl boxes, which could look bad if we weren’t gonna order any food from them. However, we were. We were gonna order Panera. We were going to set our cookies down, and then order it. However, before we could even pass the inspection I counter, we were met with looks of displeasure and anger. Obviously we were uncomfortable, so my friend and I sat down while our other friend went to order. The UI three employees who were staring us down were rude to him, and after he saw how they overcharged him for a drink, he decided not to waste any money on the terrible food. Btw, Five dollars for a small drink is crazy…. Horrible experience, but I guess that’s fine for how horrible the food is. The employees acting that crazy over microwaved food is weird.

Walking into this Panera Bread felt like interrupting a private meeting. No greeting, no “hi,” just blank, hostile stares from every employee like I’d personally offended them by existing. When I walked up to the counter, the staring somehow got worse—full-on zoo animal treatment. Relax. This isn’t the Taj Mahal. Then there’s the pricing. $4.70 for a large cup? Be so serious. This is Panera, not fine dining. You literally reheat food that arrives in plastic bags. Let’s all get a grip. And the cherry on top: I asked for three forks and was told they “can’t hand them out anymore.” I’m sorry—you’re a restaurant. What am I supposed to do, eat with my thoughts? With vibes? Absolutely ridiculous. Between the cold attitude, laughable prices, and refusal to provide basic utensils, this place has fully lost touch with reality. Panera needs to humble itself. Save your money and go somewhere that remembers it’s a fast-casual chain, not a luxury experience.

Stopped in just to use my sip club for hot tea and restroom. First, tables have signs on saying to limit your stay to 90 minutes. Panera is often used as a meet up place. I have never seen these signs in other areas. If this was my local Panera I would be extremely annoyed and complain and go to another nearby one. Second, staff were sneezing on food, working while sick without wearing a mask sure didn’t encourage me to buy food. Third, hot water was out for tea instead of filling the pot they insisted on taking my cup and filling. Only milk out was half and half. Asked for almond milk and instead of bringing out the thermos she poured it in a plastic cup which really perks me since I do not like to add extra plastic to a landfill just because staff is LAZY. And last, bathroom had no paper towels so you know they are not routinely checking. End of rant.

This Panera location often runs out of bread, which seems like something that should never happen. Sadly, the black bean soup without a baguette as a side is not as good. And this isn’t limited to this location, but how does a restaurant that specializes in sandwiches no longer offer mustard?!!?
