  Lunch time and two customers in the entire restaurant and there’s no one at the front. Not going to wait (like 5 minutes) to be served so we left! Not a good look for our first Pittsburg food experience!

  We decided late to go out on New Years Eve and very few restaurants had reservations between 7-8pm. This restaurant had an 8pm and while I am usually hesitant to eat at chain restaurants, this one was surprisingly good. I had the bone-in pork chop, which I rarely get when dining out, and it was superb. My husband and friends were also pleased with their meals. The atmosphere was just ok. We were seated near the kitchen; unpleasant with all the comings and goings. Atmosphere away from the kitchen is probably just fine. The service was ok. Our waiter did not check in with us for more than 5 minutes after we sat down. He also did not touch base with us during our meals even though he was going by frequently. Toward the end of our meal, he became more accessible. The prices were great! Much better than any other high-end chains such as Ruth's Chris, Morton's, etc.

  We came to McCormick & Schmick’s after a live performance downtown. It was part of a special family Holiday date. Two of our four girls are special needs. We have an 18 year old who has moderate Autism and a non verbal 12 year old with a genetic disorder, so this was very new for them and we were anxious about possible behaviors. So, we chose a day and time when the restaurant wouldn’t be as busy. We were so incredibly blessed to have a server that just “got it”! Robin was amazing! She anticipated the girls needs before I had to even ask. She made us ALL feel super confident and comfortable! I have never been to a restaurant that was so inclusive, and I have to attribute that to our amazing server. We as a family had the MOST amazing day together and it’s a memory we will hold onto forever. Our girls all enjoyed their meal and are excited to go back some day. Thank you McCormick & Schmick’s and thank you SO much Robin! You’re an angel!

  Big city, well priced, private dining, relaxed ambiance, kind and well educated service. 5 STAR HERE !!! WELL DONE ! GREAT DRINK MENU!! - *Do not miss out on that chocolate box and fruit topped white mouse 😋

  So I called in to get a fish sandwich because it wasn't posted on the menu online. So I was told it was going to be 15 minutes so I said ok, went there it took another 15 min to get my food, ok fine to it's not a fast food restaurant, so I waited I was so disappointed when I got to eat my sandwich it was burnt and tasteless the only thing that tasted good was the fries I paid $21.00 plus tip for that!! And this is suppose to be a high end restaurant ok please.😒
