Everyone is always happy to see our little guy and he loves to eat here (he's a picky guy!). La Calera is a peak dinner option on 51. They also always have sports on, great place for a queso and puck drop.

My wife asked for a side of guacamole. They have us a large dish. It was delicious, but it wasn't until we got the bill that I found out we'd been sold the Guacamole Dip appetizer for $11 instead of the $5 side of guac. Oh, and they do have slightly lower prices for paying in cash, but it amounted ti a dollar or two on our $50 meal.

The people were friendly and chill, the atmosphere really felt like a Mexican abuelas home, the food was authentic, well prpriced, large, and very very delicious, I want to live in this restaurant.
