  Jimmy John’s has usually been a great place to eat, but after my last experience stopping at the Oakland store on Oakland Ave Pittsburgh I will mot be any longer. I ordered a ham and cheese and I expected to be prepared in front of me. It was not apparently they have premade sandwiches already sitting there and thats what I got. I did not want to make a scene so I paid for it and tossed it in the garbage. Hey Jimmy John’s since when are employees permitted to make pre maid sandwiches??

  Food is always good, I just wish they'd fix their menu so it would allow me to order fountain drinks on the app. Also, seems like the AC hasn't worked in months, or maybe it's just on the weekends when I always go. Last 3 or 4 times there has been no air and it was so warm I was dripping sweat the whole time I was in there (was in the 90s outside that day). Today it was so warm my cookie was floppy.

  The food is consistently delicious. And the staff is always so careful in preparing our order due to one family member having a severe dairy allergy. We trust them with our food order. We love going to Jimmy Johns.

  I've been meaning to write a review for the Jimmy John's in Oakland for a while now. This location is really great. The staff, including the manager, always go above annd beyond and they genuinely care. They've gone out of their way for us on a couple of occasions, and it's nice to see that level of care. The food itself is consistently great. The ingredients are always fresh—you can tell they take pride in what they're serving. The bread is fresh and everything tastes delicious. My family has a lot of different preferences, and it can be hard to find a place where everyone is happy. But at this Jimmy John's, we can all find a sandwich we love, which makes it a really easy choice for us. If you're in the area and looking for a quick, fresh sandwich, you should definitely give this place a try.
